I came here with coworkers for a holiday luncheon. It’s at the end of an alleyway that is like stepping into a set or being in a whole different place or country(not in some alley in DTLA). Everyone was very hospitable and helpful, even though we were such a big group. We had ordered in advance, so our orders came very quickly after the salads, hummus, and pita chips. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. The chicken breast was super tender. I would definitely come back here.

Now I’m not the type of person who will ever have a salad blow their mind but I will say their Greek salad(w/chicken) may have been the best one I’ve had and that’s note worthy. I recommend this place. Had it for lunch on a job and everyone was happy with their orders. The area it’s in is really cool too.

We stopped into a jewelry store and found this restaurant on the Unilocal app. VERY good food. Portions are ample and the price is fair. There was something for everyone in the family .The service was excellent. It tucked in an ally a little hidden gem. We will be back.

A couple of my coworkers took me here last week. To begin with, Vincent Ct. Is a hidden gem in the Jewlery District– it’s off 7th between Broadway and Hill. If you work in downtown, definitely worth checking out. Tulip Café is an adorable venue. It’s tiny and was very crowded when we were there at peak lunchtime. If you’ve spent much time in the Mediterranean/Aegean, this spot legit feels like a taverna. The food was authentic and delicious. I got the beef gyro plate, it was pretty tasty and a huge portion. I tend to judge med style food by salad and tiziki, both were fab. Tons of food– we all left with leftovers. Service was a bit slow because there was one waitress, but she did an excellent job. I’ll definitely be back.

The food was great! The parking was a big pain in the *** which is the only reason it gets 4 stars. It was also hot that day and the air wasn’t working… I’m sure they will fix that. The service was stellar, they were really on top of it despite how hot it was! I really also liked the way they served the food and of course it was really delicious(Turkish I think?) it was goooood! Saint Vincent Court is such a cool little street like something out of a movie set :) You can sit inside or outside, so that is a plus.

Great food if you’re looking into trying something new and Mediterranean. The portions are pretty good sized as well w/average downtown food prices. The venue is really comfortable located in a cul-de-sac that kind of reminds you of being in Europe. Limited seating both indoors and outdoors, so call ahead if you have a big party. Family owned and staff, who are super friendly. Don’t be surprised if they all come out to talk to you and see if you like their food. Love this place!

This place was awesome! We ordered the chicken kebab meal, which to me was decent, while my partner thought it was very good. The Alexander the Great kebab meal was AMAZINGLY delicious, and a lot of food. I would definitely go back to eat this again and try other items on the menu. More about the restaurant: it was verrry hot outside that day, but cool inside(very grateful for that). We had a friendly, attentive waitress. The décor inside is lovely, great place for a date. They weren’t very busy when we went. The bathroom was clean and nicely decorated.

there are a million Mediterranean places in DTLA and this is the one you need to come to. Its a small little café but they have some outside seating, sometimes there’s filming and all the extra shenanigans that come with being in a downtown area offer but the food is great and customer service is as well. go tulip!

Small Mediterranean café tucked away behind the los Angeles theater in dtla. Came to pick up some lunch and had their gyros with a side of pita bread and hummus. Their meat was very tender and flavorful. The pita bread was fresh and warm. Good portions too. I took some home to eat later it was so much. Great service and great ambiance.

We stopped by here during our downtown LA adventure. I remember the last time I came here, the owner of Tulip Café told me that Fridays and Saturdays 4:00 pm-9:00 pm there is an event where we bring out own wine. Having had quite a bit to drink already, we decided to pace ourselves and order tea instead. I ordered Armenian tea, which is very similar to Persian tea. Our teas came out in a small kettle, and we got small glass cups each. I don’t put sugar in my tea, and it tasted smooth anyway. I had an entire small kettle by myself, and it got me going. The staff was friendly, and the owner was there overlooking his staff. He’s a pretty cool guy, he’s been here from Turkey since 1975. I recommend stopping here for a nice ethnic taste in downtown LA.

Truly a hidden gem. Amazing flavor and so much for your money. Excellent service! This little place is tucked at the end of eclectic St Vincent«alley» in the jewelry district. The food is fresh, flavorful, served with a smile and reasonably priced. Give it a try if you are in the area.

Charming setting in a European style hidden alley behind the Las Angeles Theatre. Fish was good and reasonably priced. Watch out for the metal chairs… jagged wires ruined my suit slacks(big torn hole). I asked to change chairs and they gave me a comp slice of pie.

This charming café is tucked behind a building in the jewelry district. I found it by accident and the back alley location looks more like a scene from a movie filmed in a quaint European village. There are a string of other sidewalk cafes and the street is dotted with tables covered in white linens. I could came here everyday for a two weeks and try a new restaurant. I ordered chicken shishkabobs that were grilled perfectly. Leaving a nice smoky char on the outside and the inside juicy and flavorful. Are you afraid you will have to choose what kind of carb to pair with it? No worries, it comes with seasoned fries, rice AND a bread roll. Wonderful family style service too, not a bad day in a back alley!

I was expecting much goodness from this place with a 4.5 Unilocal rating. Unfortunately, at best, I’d give it a 3. My shish kebab plate was real bland. I needed dash some salt on it a few times. The rice and fries where average. Aside from the food, the service here is welcoming, friendly, and on point. Tulip Café is tucked in St Vincent Court which is a bit hard to find but a cool find amongst different restaurants. You won’t feel like you’re in LA here. Almost like a different country. Cool place to find a cool spot especially on a hot day.

5STARSFORLUNCHCATERING! For about $ 15 per person, you can find the best lunch catering here. Adam(the son i think?) always takes our orders and delivers a feast. Here’s a lowdown of what $ 15 a person can get you: Baked Tilapia with lemon caper sauce Chicken or Beef Koubideh Grilled steak Greek Salad Bulgar Grilled Squash, Zucchini, Jalapenos, and Eggplant, Hummus and lotsa bread Trust me, they don’t skimp on the food and you will be stuffed. Just don’t try to order last minute and make sure you give the enough time to work with your order. We’ve ordered many lunches here and have never been disappointed. The service is great and the food is delicious. LOVETHISPLACE!
