I like this place. Let me make this a quick review with some good tips. Tip(1) Check your order before you leave if you don’t like having your order wrong. Tip(2)Call ahead to place your order Tip(3) If you don’t call ahead be prepared to wait so have your tablet, journal or phone. I stopped in yesterday for the first time. I ordered the baked chicken(it had good flavor). I ordered the greens and yams, they forgot my greens, I called to inform them and they were apologetic and offered me a free dessert upon my next visit. Which I appreciated. Check this place out, if you’re looking for tasty baked pollo. Just be prepared to wait a bit if you’ve not called in.

Wings n Greens or Krispy Krunchy Chicken or whatever this place is called I can never get the name straight. This place has THEMOST amazing fried chicken E V E R. There’s another soul food place in the vicinity, and I’ve reviewed them before, also excellent food, but this place definitely has them beat in these four categories, in my opinion. Fried Chicken Honey Butter Biscuits Corn Bread Muffins Cabbage Whenever I want these specific items I come to this place. If I want yams, baked chicken, greens I’ll go to my other spot. E N J O Y

Typical black owned and operated establishment… Good food HORRIBLESERVICE! Terrible attitudes, wanted 10 minutes while the girl took a phone call. No smile, no sorries, no thank you. Made me feel like i owed them money or something. It’s sad, but if you don’t mind shitty attitudes and poor service with REALLY good food, this is the place for you. The parking is the worse too

Service is very slow. Not sure why because I always see a lot of chicken already made. Flavor of the chicken is good, no complaints about that. I do believe the workers should pay more attention to detail. Without the honey on the biscuit, I’m eating a dry rock. If the biscuits were great without it, THEN they can forget about it and let it slide. Cashier was very sweet but I don’t think they are THAT busy for it to take 15minutes for a 3 piece. Probably won’t come back because the food is very expensive for what it is. I’ve been here about 5 times and it might be the last.

I don’t write reviews often and I’m writing before I even taste my food. The service is awful. Close to 40 minutes to get my good and it’s not busy. Cashier was on the phone for 10 minutes helping someone figure out what they might want to order. She did not look up to acknowledge me or the line. She did not apologize for the wait either. It’s my first time here and I’m leaving thinking I should have gone elsewhere. The food better be worth the wait.

The fried chicken was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside the way good fried chicken should be. My brother had the wings and mac and cheese I had the collard greens. The greens was a little soupy by my standards but their mac and cheese was on point. The only reason we came here was because York Orleans was closed which is in the same strip mart. Please look at my review for York Orleans as well.

I love the food here so much! I’ve never been one to like fried chicken but it’s sooooo good here! We mostly order the baked chicken, which is also very good. The mac n cheese is worth every calorie! What you’ve read about the service is true However Marlena is REALLY great about getting the order right and making sure we have everything we need. She is the best. You can eat here, but it’s SUPER casual. Most of the tables are filled with people who are waiting for to go orders. I’d love to see service improve and for management to plan better(they were out of yams). Long wait, but worth it!

I just walked into this place for the first time. I stood at the resister for 4 mins. Nobody took my order. NoBody acknowledge I was standing. With four people behind the counter, you would think someone would say, «well be right with you». NOPE! I hit up the owner has I walked out and told him what happen. He said«oh, the girl at the front was speaking with me». That was a straight out lie. Unreal! Poor service. I’ll never go back

I usually get the Waldhorf salad but for the past two weeks they haven’t had apples for the salad that I’m so addicted to, I’m known by the staff for ordering extra, extra extra home made ceasars salad dressing they make, but today I’m getting chicken thighs with biscuits n red beans n rice instead

When Wings N Greens first opened, it was clean and inviting, a place you wouldn’t mind dining in with your family for dinner which I had, but what the heck has happened? The conditions are horrible now, the cooking area looks like a earthquake hit it with dirty pans, and caked on grease all over everything. The dinning tables are dirty with holes all through table cloths, overfilled trash cans and all. Now if you can past that, the food here is phenomenal, the roasted and fried chicken is delicious. The sides are fantastic, the Red Beans and Rice, Mac N Cheese and the greens, OMG! The Krispy Krunchy biscuits, are the best biscuits hands down IMO, than any other Fried Chicken franchise around… Now if you all can get the décor and ambiance together, this could be a phenomenal establishment.

Never will i ever go to this spot again… I try to support black business within the community… but to order food at 12:37pm(PST) and not get it until 1:15pm(PST) for a meal of red beans and rice — already ready to be served since it’s cooking all day in the same pot, and order of these chicken ball bites — I was told it’d take 10 mins to cook but we’re burnt and tasteless from what I was told/described, and a Chinese chicken salad — which is used with the fried chicken sitting out for majority of the day… how does that equate to 40 mins of waiting… that’s sad and on the same level as aunt kissybullsht that was on Washington Blvd in Mariana del Rey that went outta business finally… They can’t be mad… this is the truth… I was a min away from asking for my money back when at the 40 min mark they want to tell me that they have no green onions for the salad… horrible experience and lost my support and the support of others that I know in the neighborhood… I kept my reciept if antone has a dispute and want to say anything back… they lucky I can’t put up picture of what the food looks like so u can see it for yourself…#shouldagotmymoneyback wish they would let me post this without a star rating… sad mfkaz

My second visit to this restaurant and while the crispy chicken sandwich is good, the customer service left much to be desired(both times). I came in to pick up lunch before heading to class. The cashier told me the order would be ready in 5 – 7 minutes, which was perfect considering I was on a tight schedule. I waited for 10 minutes then 15 minutes… fine I know cooking takes time… Long story short, after I waited longer, they ended up giving my sandwich away to someone who had just walked in. When I finally got my sandwich, I asked for sauce and the waiter told me it would be a extra… completely unapologetic. I was late to my class. I won’t be back.

I hate to give this review because Im all for supporting Afr. Amer businesses. The baked chicken was very dry and overly baked. I got a piece of the krispy chicken and its was really good. The peach cobbler was dried up and not very sweet. I will go again but I will not order the baked chicken! The service was great and they were friendly!

Sooooo look. I wanted this to be better. Mostly because there’s no reason for it not to be. The food is not bad. .. The mac n cheese has good flavor– it’s even a little spicy! But it was just a tiny bit mushier than I want to spend money on. The yams were tasty, but dry. That was a first. I’m a dark meat-lover(that’s what she said?) for one specific reason: it’s never dry. Except yesterday, from Wings N Greens. Sigh. The cornbread dressing was good. We ordered collard greens and got mustard greens, which sucked for the one of us who is allergic to all things mustard. But as far as mustard greens go, they were good. The biscuits are my FAVORITEEVER. Maybe. Damn good. The bigger issue is that the menu isn’t very accommodating, which is rather strange because I come from the land of «meat-and-threes» where you can pick and choose what you want to eat, and make an individualized dinner out of it. Not here. I think the best they can do is an option of adding one side to the chicken and biscuit combos for some silly cost. So the two of us ended up having to order a meal for about 10, just to get the variety that we wanted. And THEN, $ 40 later. .. it was just okay. I’d come back for a biscuit, but honestly there are too many other places to get soul food for me to deal with their funky ordering process. All that said, you won’t, like, cry if you eat there. It’s not awful.

This place is okay. You have to fight for a sample of the sauce for the wings. The cashier was nice, she Kind of got overwhelmed because the dinner people all came in all at once to order dinner and she was the only one to take orders. The 4 wings took forever. They were ok but those greens were spiced just right.

Since my last review on 01÷26÷14, Wings N’ Greens has added the franchise Krispy Krunchy Fried Chicken to their menu. This has been a saving grace to this previously unappealing restaurant which was on the way to destruction. Krispy Krunch franchise has brought this restaurant to life. The fried chicken is excellent, typically hot and delicious. I don’t typically eat fried chicken, but Krispy Krunchy and now Wings N’ Greens has renewed my faith in the neighborhood restaurant and most especially in fried chicken. So, at this point in time, I am removing my 1 star rating to a happy 4 star review. Hope to add many more! I will say they need to work on their customer service, which is pretty lacking.

I love it! This establishment has new choices… You can stick with the original healthier menu which is the wings and greens everything baked and nothing fried or you can choose Krispy Kruncy Chicken. I ordered the mac-n-cheese very tasty and it had a spicy kick to it. The biscuits will melt in your mouth! I hate to admit this but I had 6 biscuits in one sitting. Great customer service and all my questions about the menu were answered… This will be one of my new favorites for the summer!

The service is so terrible. Minimal customer service skills, no phone etiquette, and the workers seem irritated all the time. they don’t smile or make you feel like your business is appreciated,.they barely say hello when you come up to the counter! I really want this place to win but they gotta get better workers or have a workshop on customer service skills or something. I got home to eat and my side dish was wrong. I had my mouth set for Mac and cheese and I have cabbage instead. The cabbage is in a container like the Mac so I assumed that it was correct. I shouldn’t have to babysit. I expect my food to be what I paid and asked for. On top of that, the chicken was sooooo dry. Yea… I’m done.
