Hands down, one of the best kimbap and udon in Koreatown. It’s the same owner who had same restaurant running at Gaju Market located on 4th before they closed down and another one on Wilshire and Manhattan– which is still running. If you lived in Ktown long enough you should be familiar with this place. If you’re looking for a good fast food at an affordable price, I highly recommend.

This place is a diamond in a field of diamonds. What I mean by that is that even with all the great food in Koreatown this place stands out! I used to come here for some really great king sized dumplings that they have discontinued sadly. Now I come for their awesome Spicy Stir Fried Squid. The meal is delicious, filling and cheap. You get a soup, white rice, banchan and the entrée! It used to be really, really cheap but the price has gone up. Another reviewer mentioned the food is spicy and she is right. I hate spicy food yet I still enjoy their Spicy Stir Fried Squid! It’s just that good! This restaurant is inside the Han Kook Market. It is pretty basic as you might expect. They have a few tables. They have their menu posted on a wall in big pictures. You can see what the dish looks like and the price is adjacent to the picture. Parking is no issue since the Han Kook Market has a big parking lot. What can I do without here? I can see no defects here! What makes Wool Um Ma stand out? The value! You truly get a delicious cheap meal here! Five stars! This place is really, really ridiculously good!

One of the best places to go for kimbap and ddukbokki. I go there often and have been the customer since they were in Gaju market. Finally today i tried kimchi fried rice for the first time here. Though i love their kimbap, ddukbokki, fried dumplings, and fried gimmari, the kimchi fried rice literally had the rice and kimchi only, other than one fried egg on top. While the flavor was spicy and not bad, i would not pay $ 8.99 for that next time.

Wool Um Ma(which means«My Mom» in Korean) has the best kimbab in Koreatown. Yes, it is a bit on the pricier side than the usual kimbab rolls, but trust me, I totally think it’s worth it. I always get the meat kimbab(gogi kimbab) and dduk bok kki(spicy rice cake) when we go here. People who doesn’t enjoy spicy food, beware! It is definitely on the spicy end of the spectrum but it’s delicious. You can always stop by to pick up the kimbab and if they don’t have any, they are more than willing to quickly make them for you so you can be a happy customer :) It is inside the HK Market next to the side dishes section. When you walk into the market, it’ll be on your far left side. Enjoy!

I can’t believe this place isn’t on Unilocal yet! It’s a cute little restaurant inside Han kook supermarket. They have the best tuna kimbap! I’ve tried tuna kimbap at other places but they don’t compare to wool um ma’s. It has the perfect amount of tuna and veggies, it’s addicting. I love tuna sandwiches and kimbap so this is my two favs combined perfectly. I come here at least once every two weeks to get my fix. Each box comes with 3 huge rolls for 7 bucks. The korean lady who I think owns the place because she’s always there is pretty friendly. They have other items there like dumplings and soups which I haven’t tried yet but will soon. It’s hard to try anything else because all I want is their tuna kimbap!
