I order the same thing every time I come here. The mongolian beef is so tender its really really good. The house chow mein is good as well.

Eye’s is a place where my family enjoy the best spicy hot wings in Los Angeles. The Taraji chicken is tasty to the bone. The best egg Foo Yong with tasty graveyard like no other. Chinese greens with shrimps or lobster sauce are a must. You can find no others like them, egg rolls have changed non the less I don’t know of any better. Pork fried rice is delicious.

Used to be good. the prices went up and the portions went down. Got my regular order and it just was not right. The young man at the counter said this is how it has always been. Fucking Liar. We’ll this will be the last time they get my business. And my long list of friends and clients will be told to never give them any more business.

The food was«meh.» Nothing special, but there was one thing that really bothered me being at the restaurant. I’ll never eat here again. Why do they have bulletproof glass around the entire establishment? If you are so scared– enough that you have bulletproof glass around the entire place, why do you even cater to people in the beautiful community of View Park/Windsor Hills? Wouldn’t it be easier to move your restaurant to a neighborhood where YOU feel safe? Coming into a predominantly African American neighborhood and seeing bulletproof glass in a restaurant gives off a very unwelcoming vibe. I don’t even know how this place is still in business operating like this.

I am half Asian and I will NEVER eat here again! I have lived in this area my entire life and remember when Yee’s was a nice restaurant. It is an insult to me and the surrounding community with the plexiglass all over the restaurant. If you have been robbed there are other ways to protect your budiness like hire a decent security company. Other business in the surrounding area do not make you feel like a criminal with the plexiglass in their restaurants. There are other Chinese restaurants in the area…

Today, I went to my old favorite Yee’s. I ordered Beef and Broccoli. I paid $ 9.00 for stalks of broccoli, very little meat and no sauce, just dry white rice. I use to love Yee’s, it was convenient. I will not go there again! Horrible!!!

I got the combination dinner and I was not pleased. I had to bring it back.(Good thing I tasted some of everything before I left out the lot) The rice was SO dry and had no flavor. The chicken chow mein was nasty. The only thing I ate was the 2-fried shrimp, and the egg foo. Yee’s has gone downhill! This is not the Yee’s I remember and I WON’T be retuning!

Just to let everybody know Unilocal’s On-Line Menu is Yee’s old Menu prices. Everything is about a dollar more. Also Yee’s no longer accepts night phone orders. Based on tonight quality you would be better off going to Panda Express, close to Magic’s shopping center.

1 star for the price, some of the worst food I’ve tasted. Flavorless and greasy. And I’m usually offended when patronizing a business covered in bulletproof glass.

I’ve had their Wanton soup and it is so delicious. I love it in cold weather as it is sooooo hot.

As my profile states I am always looking for really good egg foo Yong because it is our favorite food to eat. Both my hubby and I are always looking for that wonderful gravy with a touch of Chinese five spice, that goes deliciously on the egg patty. We went to Yee’s last night becuse hey, we are in LA and I must say the Chinese food is much better here that in the Bay Area! We ordered the house fried rice, chicken egg rolls and the shrimp egg foo Yong. I liked the gravy for the foo Yong but geez we were given 5 pieces of fried shrimp that on top of the patties??? We thought geez, fried shrimp? That was kinda odd… The gravy was good but otherwise we were pretty disappointed about our food. The egg rolls were pretty greasy and the fried rice did not live up to our expectations… We travel to various cities across the country and are always seeking the delicious egg patty with that scrumptious gravy. There are some spots that are our faves but most are in NYC… Hey Cali… l am disappointed that your Foo Yong isn’t up to par. I realize there is many more dishes we can try but for our family Egg Foo Yong is our go to and we love it so we are always in search for it! Yee’s it wasn’t worth going to the hood to experience mediocrity!

The name alone takes me back home, and the food was good too. I like their kung pao shrimp and orange chicken, all on point. I used to get my haircut right across the street too, but you have to be on your P’s and Q’s in that area though. Yeeeeeeeee! It’s a Bay thing you feel me

It’s a decent spot. I would call it your neighborhood Chinese joint. They have several choices and different combinations fo individual or 2 – 4 people. You do not get to see all your choices like at other Chinese spots but they have all the choices. Their serving portions are very kind! If you’re in the area and you’re craving Chinese food, it will do.

Yee’s, A decent go to eatery! Must try egg rolls. My family, friends and neighbors have all eaten here since the 70’s. We usually get the same dishes: Egg rolls, fried rice, chop suey, orange chicken, and egg foo young!

Yee’s has been around the neighborhood for years and years. It’s always been known as the best Chinese food in the«hood». Have I had better Chinese food, yes but for the value Yee’s is hands down some of the best Chinese food around. My personal favorite are the egg rolls and the shrimp fried rice. I had the shrimp fried rice. They don’t use the micro mini shrimp, instead they use jumbo shrimp. Yee’s is no frills. The restaurant itself is bland and drab. The registers are surrounded with bullet proof glass all the way up to the ceiling. It’s not very ascetically pleasing at all. But it is very clean and they have an A in the window. There’s an armed security guard out front who also patrols the lot. Yee’s has been in this neighborhood for years and I’ve never had a bad experience here. If your in the neighborhood and want good reasonably priced Chinese food, then Yee’s is the place to go.

In the last 5 years, I’ve lived in MO, PA, DC, and now CA … So I’ve tried my fare share of Chinese food. This place … Oh man! This ISNOT your typical americanized Chinese spot! Granted, the restaurant itself is pretty cookie cutter … Oh and there’s the whole bullet proof glass sitch. But the food?! Super authentic, fresh, and delish! I don’t understand people complaining about the price. It’s normal for a Chinese place, get the amount of food you get is worth double what you’re paying. The fried shrimp is out of this world! Open until 10 pm 7 days per week is a huge plus!

Yee’s has the BEST egg rolls! I could seriously gorge out on those alone. I normally get their shrimp fried rice and pepper steak along with the aforementioned egg rolls. It’s always delicious with a good portion size. I’m not a fan of their bullet-proof glass however, so I always order to go. So far it’s my favorite spot in my hood when I want Chinese food.
