Food is average. Nothing worth mentioning. Service is fast and friendly. Outdoor seating is very cute. Nice date spot. Def a unique restaurant.

I came here with a group for dessert. It had a nice ambiance and cute decorations! I felt like I was in someone’s large patio area with the wick seating and string lights. Service was attentive and prompt, made easy with a service button at the table. Numerous fire heaters were spread throughout the outdoor seating area. I ordered the fruit shaved ice which was amazing! Kiwis, bananas, strawberries, pineapples, a scoop of ice cream, and shaved iced at the bottom. The ice cream and sweetness of the fruit ensure the shaved ice is sweet and flavourful throughout the bowl. We split the double smores(12 marshmallows, 2 chocolate bars, and around 20 graham crackers) as a table, which was pricey but I guess you could say we were paying for the experience. How many other places serve smores on their menu?! Some of my friends ordered the fruit juices, which I’m definitely looking forward to trying on my next visit! The food entrees looked great as well, and there was a 50% off drinks with purchase of an entrée sign. The only thing that ended the experience on a sour note was my friend’s car getting hit in the street parking spots on Oxford, right across from the café. Valet parking is $ 2, so I’d definitely recommend that in order to avoid the repercussions of the seemingly bad drivers in the area!

Such a cute little place in ktown! I would come back here at night cause I imagine the outside seating area must be super cute with the twinkle lights one! Between three of us, we got a matcha latte, kiwi juice, mango juice, and dukbokki. Don’t forget if you get food, your drink is 50% off! My only complaint would be that it’s pretty pricey.

Always super cute! Shaved ice is deLish and the cheapest in ktown. Service is typical Korean, but they speak English! Always valet($ 2.00) the parking is crappy. All their teas, shaved ice and coffee drinks are yummy!

— ambiance in the evening is great. café lights everywhere as expected — 90% male servers. why is that at asian places? — $ 6 peach tea. way too sweet. — bingsoos are alright — looked like everyone around us was getting food. — smells like a musty house inside(surprise) — valet parking — street parking available.

Their sign near the entrance says«Open 24 hours» but it’s just a prop, if it was real I would be so happy! Lol Koreans(don’t worry I’m Korean so it’s ok to be racist to my own people) Please order: 1. kimchi bacon pasta(very rich/creamy/sexy-take your lactose intolerance pill) 2. ddukboki platter(it’s the most perfectly cooked chewy ddukboki & ramen –I don’t even like ramen EVER) …pork cutlet, I’ve had better at the super market Very cute décor, parking is a pain in the butt in residential areas cuz it’s all apartments! Aigoo but so worth it

I’ve really been wanting to go to yellow house for months & I finally went over the weekend. The food was the was DELICIOUS! I had the«famous» bacon kimchi pasta.(which is not spicy) Spam musubi, fried rice, & blueberry lemonade. I’m giving yellow house a 4 out of 5 because the service was ridiculous. We had 3 different servers & my group of friends all had questions because the menu is in Korean & English but does not have descriptions of the food & when we asked what the items were they seemed confused as well. They also made us pay when are food hadn’t even arrived yet which was odd.

As much as I used to love this place, my night was instantly ruined as their incompetent employee knocked over my 2 month old baby while she was still in her car seat. How can you guys be so careless and not come back to check if we are ok? We still need to press a button cause you people are scared of us after what your employee did. All you offered us was a chair in hopes it will fix the problem? No manager came to check on us or apologized. Safe to say, they are really careless here. Should I get an attorney for this?

This is honestly such a cool concept and the interior is really neat. $ 2 for valet parking right outside which is well worth it. Friends and I split the Green Tea shaved ice and the Blossom Tea. The shaved ice was pretty good — a bit small, but the mochi, fruit, and ice cream were all really yummy with the ice. The tea was good too, but I think it’s a little ridiculous that they don’t offer even just one free refill considering all that entails is boiling water. I did really like that they had a button on each table that you can push to call a server. Made the entire ordering and paying process fast and easy. I think it’s a little overpriced for the portions, but if you split everything with some friends and get enough it’s a cute place for a late night dessert.

Fairytale café in the heart of ktown! I would recommend coming at night, the lighting and cozy-ness of the heaters make it feel like I’ve stepped into Narnia. It’s got a romantic charming vibe to it. Perfect for dates or just to get away from the world for a day. We came only for desserts and got their almond roca cappucino(dont get it, its nothing special, s’mores, and pabingsu(Korean shaved ice) The S’MORES was so adorable! Came with a mini fire and a whole set for you to make with friends or your s/o. I cant wait to come back and try their entrees.

Man I wish I took pics of the portions of food we received, but my party played that«phone in the middle game» so I couldn’t take any): I went here for dinner with a party of about 9. There is valet parking outside for $ 2. The front entrance area is pretty small, but once you go inside, the layout of the place is amazing. They give you these buzzers that can be used to summon their services when pressed. We’ve used it a couple of times to let them know we’re ready to order or we needed water. On a Saturday night them came by our table pretty fast which was nice. We were seated outside which was freezing, but good thing they had those heaters to keep our party warm. I had the Korean BBQ sushi rolls while also trying other dishes. The sushi rolls were alright. I think they were kind of dry and that it was missing some juiciness. The Korean BBQ quesadilla was okay as well. It comes with sour cream and two other sauces which I liked. The big take away from this place is that their portions are huge. They gave so much food, making us get the most bang for our buck. I wouldn’t mind coming back for their drinks as well. Overall I just like receiving a lot of food, making it worth the price.

Parking is always valet on this packed street but $ 2 saves you the road rage in finding parking I guess. All outdoor seating in the back of the«yellow house» so be mindful there might be flies. It’s great to have a chat with friends here over coffee though, and they also have some outlets here and there but not that close to the tables. Love their fried sushi rolls(forgot what they called it). The waffle I got was so-so but as you would expect it to taste, not that it was poorly made but an ordinary dish.

Date night Pros: A really nice place for a date. Nice cozy atmosphere. Fire pits all around for warmth. Prices are decent. Food is pretty good. Good and attentive service. Has a nice variety of food to choose from. From appetizers to desserts to other snacks and a nice list of drinks. Cons: The price isn’t the best for what you get. It should be expected when going to little cafes like this. Serving sizes are ok… Parking is valet only unless you can somehow find parking around the block. It can get really crowded sometimes and noisy so that sort of makes the place lose the ambiance that it’s aiming for. During the winter it gets COLD. even with the heaters and fireplaces outside. the eating area is all located outdoors. The wind doesn’t get in, but the cold has no problem with that. Bottom line: Plan beforehand. Weekdays M-Th are best if you want it not as crowded. Dress warmly and expect to fork out some $$. Especially if you plan on ordering dessert there as well.

Really cute café with great food/drink and opens late. We got the cheese rapokki and waffles with yellow house toppings which were delish. I also tried their green tea latte which was great as well, but I think I’ll ask for a bit less sweet next time. The service was decent, but not amazing by any means. I did like that they had the service bells. Overall, great café and I’ll be returning.

Come here if you want comfort food, a good beverage, and hanging out in someone’s cozy backyard. Food– Servings are generous, so be careful how much you order! The kimchi spaghetti is good(but not as good as my friend’s homemade, she claimed) and the seafood rice cake(ddukbbokki) is as well. Beverage– buy one get one half off! You can’t go wrong with that! There were a few drinks with banana(??) which we skipped. Location– LOVED the atmosphere in the backyard. The inside of the house is ok, but you WANT to sit outside. Grab a table near the firepits or hang out in the garage.

I’m so excited I got to finally try this place. The perfect place for date night, a very cute fancy but casual Korean café. They have a huge menu with a lot of options to choose from from rice dishes to pastas to a variety of appetizers and desserts. Service was good, I’ve read on Unilocal that service is pretty lacking but I felt pretty bad watching the workers run around and the nonstop ringing of the bells they have at each table. The servers are nice and you can tell they’re trying their best to accommodate to everyone’s needs. Ambiance was great, I love that it was romantic and private, but yet it wasn’t completely silent. The servers wear dress shirts and ties and it makes it seem really fancy. I was wearing club attire from post Halloween plans so I didn’t feel super out of place. They have pretty lights hanging around the outside and it’s a pretty comfortable outdoor area. Food was very good too. In my opinion at least. It was very different from most cafes, they had a lot to offer, presentation was great and taste was decent it was pretty good, not mind blowing but good. We got 3 dishes and 2 drinks and a shit ton of leftovers. The portions are REALLY big(but we wanted to try different things) unfortunately we could not handle dessert so maybe next time! Bulgogi quesadilla Rating: 5⁄5 This was my boyfriends favorite, it comes with 8 slices and it’s really filling and really good and it comes with 3 dipping sauces and a side of jalapeños. Very cheesy but so satisfying. Shoestring sweet potato fries Rating: 4⁄5 Saw this on Unilocal and had to try it! the pictures don’t lie the portion is ENORMOUS. A mountain of super thinly cut sweet potato fries lightly coated with sugar. Very interesting and very addicting to munch on. Personally next time I would ask for no sugar because it’s really sweet! Yellow house ddukkbokki platter + Choong moo sushi rolls + fish cake stew(with cheese) Rating: 4.5÷5 O m g. This is just intense. Like a ddukkbokki sampler really. We couldn’t choose between the yellow house or the cheese ddukkbokki so the server suggested we just add cheese and rice cake with cheese is super bomb. The sushi rolls are deep fried which my boyfriend liked but I don’t really care for, so are the mandu(dumplings) it comes with. The sauce has good flavor and just enough spice. Sweet potato latte(hot) Rating: 5⁄5 SOOOOGOOOODD! Very sweet and warm for the tummy, if you can’t handle sweets well, I’d suggest get half sugar but it is very rich and thick and everything you’d expect from a Korean coffee shop sweet potato latte. Hazelnut latte(iced) Rating: 3⁄5 Average, just your typical hazelnut latte really. I would try the sweet potato or almond rocca if you’re here! Much more of a specialty! I’m excited to come back and try more things or just spend an afternoon studying here :)

My first visit here was an absolute disaster. We had come with a rather large party on a Friday night. We had no trouble getting seated, but before we started to order we were told that food might take about 40 minutes to a hour to come out. Seemed a little ridiculous but we were already seated and my friends wanted Korean food. Second visit was a lot better. This time we were a party of 4 and food came out in less than 10 minutes. The dukkboki platter is a must whenever we come. We also had the kimchi bacon pasta, kimchi fried rice, as well as the spam musubi. The pasta was a bit bland but both the fried rice and musubi were pretty good. Portions are pretty big and reasonably priced. Drinks on the other hand cost about $ 6-$ 7 each, but they’re half off with an entrée purchase. They don’t really check up on you, but there is a service button. There’s valet parking if you don’t feel like looking for parking on the street.

I’ve come here twice now, and I’ve had the best and the(almost) worst experience. What they’ve got going on, the good stuff: — Cute décor and interior! Love the garden kind of feel and all of the cute patio furniture! So unique. — Cute waiters. — Drinks are good. Get the sweet potato latte and/or caramel macchiato. — Food is good. Portions are good for the price. The not so good: — Weekend brunch is BUSY. Try not to do it. Even with the buzzer for service, Saturday brunch/lunch took them a good 5 – 10 mins for a waiter to finally get to our table. Getting menus and waters took even longer. Don’t even get me started on when the food finally came out. — Not any free parking that I could see. Valet parking for this place is $ 2, pretty standard for K-town. Yeah, I’m still coming back, maybe more for weekdays.

Outstanding food, the food alone I would give it a 4star and the decoration was pretty nice. However the service was pretty bad, the service alone I would give it a 2star. Here is what I didn’t like about the services. It was on a Friday night however the place was pretty slow. The servers never came by our table and ask if we needed anything. My water was not refilled once during the 2hours I was there. We had to use service button 4−5times, I don’t believe thats how Korean restaurant suppose to be. After they dropped the bill, we waited around 15−20mins then we had to use the call button again just for them to take our card. Also I think the people here are lack of personalities, no smile or anything just looked emotionless. Maybe they were rocking the cool Korean guy style, I won’t take away point for this, just something that I noticed. I live pretty far from here but if my friends suggest it, I don’t mind to come back and give it another chance.
