This studio is an oasis of clam and loveliness on Pico near Hauser. As soon as you walk in you
feel Yvonne Papnek ‘s positive energy. I have been practicing yoga for years. Yvonne is a master in her technique, which combines a variety of yoga styles into something unique and
totally original. She is caring and kind, and she really «knows her stuff «and is eager to share her vast experience. I have been attending the Saturday morning class. It’s a fantastic way to get in touch with yourself at the beginning of the weekend.
Yogi Civilian is a wonderful addition to the already vibrant neighborhood.

Great restorative class. We have been students of Yvonne for the past two years and feel tremendous gratitude for having discovered her in our neighborhood. I’m so excited about this lovely studio opening up in the neighborhood! Yvonne is a beautiful person and teacher. As a yoga and meditation teacher for more than 15 years myself, I can vouch that she honors Hatha Yoga in a more traditional way than many other yoga studios in LA and I respect that. Kudos to you, Yvonne.
Come and try a yoga or meditation class here. It’ll be a great experience for your body, mind and spirit.

First class at the new neighborhood studio and I’m very excited! Just bought a 10 class pass.
Yogi Civilian is brand new and Yvonne is still working on the schedule, trying to find what’s best for the neighborhood so give a call to confirm the time. I told her an early morning class for those who work would be good so she’s adding a 7 – 8:15 class! She’s encouraging and attentive and I’m thrilled to have her here in the hood.
