Dr Lewis has been my ENT for a decade or more. I have had multiple surgeries on my ears over the years, with 3 different doctors, and Dr. Lewis is the best. He always tells it like it is, doesn’t oversell his surgical services, has supremely skilled hands, and is a great guy at the same time. His surgery work has endured the longest, and has given me the opportunity to enjoy my passion for music. I owe my good and stable hearing to his fantastic surgery skills. I may need another ear operation some day, and this is the man I will go to.

I went to the doctor for a simple check to see if adnoids have grown back. When the camera went up my nose and then down my throat it hurt. When I went home I felt awful. Three RXs later he says I have a staff infection. He doesn’t know what to do. I felt fine before now I’m sick. He won’t admit I got this from his office. Very dissatisfied.

I was having problems with my throat and thought I might have bad tonsils. I asked my nurse daughter for a good ENT and she asked other nurses and I decided on Dr. Lewis. He examined my throat and told me there was nothing wrong with it. He then started asking me questions and decided that I should go to the sleep clinic for tests. The result is that I now sleep with a CPAP mask and and am sleeping better than ever. The throat problem was due to sleep apnea which made me breath though my mouth every minute and a half all night long. I like a doctor that can quickly zero in on the problem and get it fixed. His staff is friendly, helpful, and efficient. I would recommend him to everyone.

Had a peritonsillar abscess that was misdiagnosed by my primary care physician over two separate visits, and finally properly diagnosed by an urgent care doctor 3 weeks after first infection. The urgent care office couldn’t lance and/or drain the thing themselves, so they told me to go to the Good Sam emergency room the next morning. Went there early the following afternoon, miserable and experiencing probably the worst pain I’ve ever encountered. Waited around in the ER for a couple of hours, as the nurses there advised me that an ENT would be down shortly after close of regular business hours(doc was on call, had to see his daily appts. first). Shortly after 5pm, if I recall correctly, Dr. Lewis showed up! He quickly explained to me how the procedure was going to work, how bad it was going to suck, then proceeded to lance and drain my abscess. He was professional, polite and informative throughout the situation and I couldn’t be more thankful for him coming down to Good Sam after an entire day of seeing patients. I’ll be scheduling a tonsillectomy with Dr. Lewis shortly. I would recommend his services to anyone looking for a great ENT!

I was tested by the audiologist at the Ear, Nose, and Throat Clinic of Los Gatos and diagnosed as a virus attacking the ocular nerve. Within minutes the audiologist brought in Dr. Lewis without an appointment and he immediately started almost 2 hours of treatment trying to save my hearing. He was wonderful in explaining what is happening and what my options are. Very personable. I’ve had lots of doctors over 6 decades but this guy is one of the best.

I have been a patient of Dr. Lewis for over 8 years. He is very practical and straight forward providing me with his medical perspective and opinion. I highly recommend using him. The only downside is that he is sometimes very booked because he is a great Dr. So, making earlier appointments then I would normally is key.
