Clean and convenient — I had picked up a salad at the nearby Trader Joe’s and wanted to sit outdoors for lunch. The park is less than ¼ mile away.
Yes, power lines run overhead. But I didn’t hear noise and wasn’t there long enough to suffer any ill effects.
The park itself is a narrow strip of land in a residential neighborhood. Clean and well maintained, I felt safe and enjoyed sun and fresh air in the midst of a busy day. Local residents walked through with dogs and strollers, giving the impression that this is a frequently used spot for local families.
A plus: Doggie bags are provided at the entrance.
