Vena Renee Spa, Salon, & Glam Vault

Anya met with me this morning before the normal business hours, was there before I was, and promptly started my cut. It was my first time meeting her and I was impressed by her inviting demeanor. She is a sweetheart.
Not only is Anya super inviting and lovely, she is super talented! I had recently done a hack-​job on my own hair. Before that I had not had my hair professionally cut in over 12 months. Yikes! My hair was dry, flat, and needed some texture. Anya was able to perfectly replicate the inspiration picture that I brought in for her. I am so happy with the finished result of the cut.
I had initially booked an appointment for a cut and a color consult but Anya assured me that I didn’t NEED a color job and gave me just a suggestion for some subtle dimensional highlights. I felt she was very professional and not service-​grabby like other professionals I have been to.
Bottom line is, I’ll be recommending her and this salon to my friends and family

I had a gift card for a massage here so I decided to make a spa day out of it for mothers day. I had the massage scheduled but the day before I called and asked if they had room for a hair apt, nails and wax. They could do all but the wax. I had a 8 am mani pedi. The lady was nice, did a good job and made extra effort to help my dry heels. Crystal did my massage and she did a good job but the room was freezing and the music was a bit loud for me. The ambiance could use a little more. The place I used to go to had cucumber water for us and a spotless cozy, warm environment that makes all the difference. I then had a color apt with Marie who was fabulous! She fixed what needed to be done and did a great job. Very nice and very helpful. I will definitely go back to her. Cute little place. Everyone was very very nice. A great find!

Crystal was my massage therapist and I have to say, it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. A friend of mine have me a gift certificate to Vena Renee and swore up and down to ask for a massage from Crystal. I took her advise and had little to no expectations.
When I got there, Crystal welcomed me and made me feel at home. I’ve had my fair share of massages in my life and I honestly did not have any expectations.
The ambiance was nice and calming. I typically fall asleep at some point during my massages, but for what ever reason, Crystal’s massage techniques got me to a point of relaxation that I felt I was asleep from the beginning. I caught myself snoring on more than one occasion.
When the massage was over, I questioned if the session was really 90 minutes and to my chagrin, it was actually 94 minutes! I did not want the massage to end!
My wife and I have found a jewel with Crystal. Her massage techniques are very soothing and relaxing and I was extremely happy with my experience.

Marie is the best. I want to stop there… But, I’m sure that I need to elaborate. Especially since I’m dedicating my 400^th review to her. She takes her time addressing your needs and understanding your requests before getting started. Although the salon is located in the boushy Los Gatos area, Marie is complete unpretentious. She gave me 3 colors of highlights and explained how I could simply highlight the top half of my head. It was awesome that she wasn’t trying to up sell me. Then, while drying my hair she showed me some great techniques to style my hair easier. I love Marie and can’t wait to go back!

Ania yet again is amazing. My hair dryer stopped working so I asked Ania which one I should get. She went and got me a VERY high end dryer and only charged me for the price she paid (she gets a huge discount). She completely went out of her way for me and I adore her for it :)

It’s a fun, up-​beat salon. This review is really about Robin Welch, who has been doing facials for a long time. I never break out after her facials. Her room is quiet, and her skilled hands put me to sleep every time during the facial massage.

Vena Renee is masterful at color and cut. I always love my hair and she keeps me current. Right now i have long ombré hair with a Brazilian Blowout. She stays up on the latest techniques and styles. Vena Renee is professional and friendly, so is the entire salon for that matter. She uses and provides incredible products so my hair is so healthy and shiny.
I can’t say enough about Vena Renee and her salon.

My Mom and I have been going to Vena since as long as I can remember, I don’t trust anyone else with my hair! I even carry her business cards with me because I get so many compliments from customers at work!

I’ve been coming here for years now! Even though I have moved to San Francisco– I make it a point to Pre-​book my appointments! Ania is amazing! She is not just a hair stylist, but an artist! I have had people that have ruined my hair and been to salons where I was counting the minutes to leave because I was so bored out of my mind!
Ania is the only person that will touch my hair! I have trusted her with my hair for over 7 years! I have been red, brunette, blonde, short, long, etc.- over the years my style has changed and she is always able to magically make my hair work with my own style, skin tone, and features! I have thin hair that has been damaged over the years by others. Today, my hair is healthy and I love it. I get tons of compliments about me hair and I let everyone know that they need to see Ania!
In addition to having such a talented Stylist there, Vena Renee Spa and Salon is a super cute spot! I love the Mirrors, the chandeliers, and the «girly-​glamour» ambiance! There’s always beautiful, fresh bouquets and very cool music playing in the background. I love the cappucinos that the front desk gal can make and you even have the option of watching TV (great library of movies) while your color is processing.
It’s such a fun, cute, relaxing spot– time will fly! Everytime Im done, Ania has made my hair pretty and sexy! Look out world… another masterpiece per Ania!

Disclosure-​I went here because of a gift certificate I was given. That certificate entitled me to a cut/​color and make-​up application. This also all happened about three months ago, the reason it took so long to write is because this happened the week before I got married so I’ve been a bit busy with everything.
Alright-​I arrived about 10 minutes early and was told by the receptionist «Wow you’re early», at which point I said «I know, I don’t mind waiting». Twenty minutes later (ten minutes late) the receptionist is gabbing loudly with another employee and I’m still waiting. At 20 minutes late (waiting 30 minutes) I stand up to confirm my appointment time (thinking maybe the appointment was at the half-​hour not the hour and I wrote it down wrong)-nope I was right, they’re late. No apology either-​just «Yeah you were X o’clock-(turns to friend) So where do you want to go tonight?». Another 10 minutes I ask again and she goes to talk to the stylist/​owner Vena. They then took me back and said that they were running behind (again no apology) and that they were going to put in a deep conditioning treatment free while I waited. Fine. While the treatment is sitting Vena comes over and asks what I want for my color so she can start mixing.
Everyone was polite enough once I was back there-​but it was clear they were rushing, no one ever apologized for making me wait 30 minutes and while I appreciated the treatment, especially as a first time customer a simple «I’m sorry-we’re slammed today, do you mind waiting?»
The cut was mediocre at best. When I got home I had been styled like someone out of the 80’s. I have naturally curly hair and Vena said by putting hair spray in while using a diffuser I’d preserve the curl without frizzing the hair. When I got home all I saw was frizz. I immediately washed my hair and looked at the cut-​and saw at least two «shelves» (places where a layer wasn’t blended properly) at the back of my head.
The best part-​the color was PERFECT. I will give credit where credit is due-​I adore the color. If the salon had been polite and not made me wait they might have had a shot at return business just off the color. Too bad.

FIVE STARS for Tiffany. She is truly amazing. I have been going to her for a few years now and love everything she does with my hair. I love change and am always doing something different with my hair, Tiffany understands this and is always excited about it! She’s always keeping up with the latest trends and knows what will look good and what won’t and is very honest. Thank you Tiffany for making all my hair dreams come true!
They also have a great boutique in front with clothes, jewelry, makeup, and much more! Very cute.

5 stars thanks to my long-​time stylist, Angela. :) I have followed her to 4 different salons now and remain a committed and dedicated client! Every time I go in, she always asks me what I want. I always shrug my shoulders, talk to her about color and length, and she takes it from there. I’ve never been disappointed and always look 100 times better coming out than I did coming in. She’s the best, and always greets me with a hug and peck on the cheek!
The salon is absolutely adorable… think PINK. think GLAM! There are mini chandeliers, pink and white walls, crystals along the ceiling… but the BATHROOM IS MY FAVORITE PART. You gotta see it to believe it. Deep purple, crystals, with beautiful accents. What’s even better? The back area where you sit under the heat lamps and get your hair washed!!! Sitting for a while? No problem. Tune into the flat panel TV and select from some girly-​fun dvds! Enchanted, Maid of Honor, Legally Blonde, etc. Or you can choose from a selection of the best fashion and gossip magazines. Did I mention they offer you beverages in wine glasses?
I had a pedicure here once, on a promo they were offering. I definitely wouldn’t come back here for a pedicure. Though it was extremely clean and relaxing, I can get better and more affordable pedicure at a smaller nail salon. The leg massage and paint job were just average. Massage lasted about 3 – 5 min on each leg. I usually get at least 15 min on each leg at Nail Emporium in Los Gatos.

My long-​time stylist Carol moved here and I followed her. This is a beautiful salon and eve has it’s own parking lot (a big deal in Los Gatos). They offer it all and I love the atmosphere.

I get my hair cut at the Vena Renee salon, by Lisa Deleon and she does an amazing job, from listening to what I want to do with my hair to giving me ideas on what I could try new on my hair. Definantly a keeper hair artist.

A beautiful setting that made for a truly awesome experience.
You must ask for Ofelia, she definitely has the magic touch.
Waxing was painless and she totally made me feel at ease.
The facial was absolutely relaxing, that accompanied by the extended massage was like no other. I will definitely be back for some more pampering!
