Artistic Bay Retreat

Amazing! Awesome! Beautiful! House itself is a piece of art, charming indoors and outdoors. Cozy, comfy, lots of character, great light… pictures do not do the house or area justice… a must see… a must stay! Have already booked our next stay!!!

Fantastic. This cabin is clearly a craftsman’s labor of love. It’s built with beautiful reclaimed wood, and fantastic architectural features like the round top door, kelp motif in woodcarving and metalwork, stained glass work, stone tile flooring that connects the dining area seamlessly to the side patio, etc. It was really a pleasure to appreciate the thought and skill that went into building it.
The stay experience was wonderful too. Great light, great view of the bay, very very clean, private, hosts available and super friendly but not at all obtrusive (or on site), delightful woodstove with wood, kitchen ready for cooking, canoe and kayak for use. The bay is right outside, with boats provided. It’s also a 5m drive down the street (or long paddle!) to beautiful beach at Montana de Oro.
Incomparably more comfortable, cozy, and classy than a beach hotel or potpourri B&B.
