After striking out at another local restaurant we ended up here for dinner for a group of six people.
The lady was very nice and packed our meals with some extra meat and veggies. That was great and all but the food was pretty bad, even for these little divey Chinese restaurants.
I ordered the Emperor’s Chicken and could only eat a couple of pieces because each was so overcooked. The meat was hard.
Even the dumplings were inedible as they fell apart, which shouldn’t happen.
The broccoli chicken wasn’t awful and the sweet and sour chicken was edible.
We had planned to dine in but the flies and dilapidated interior quickly changed those plans.

General Tso Chicken is great. Crab Ragoons are great. Egg rolls are a little greasy.

Probably the worst Chinese restaurant I’ve ever been too. First the inside just looks scary and they may operate a daycare out of the front window which is concerning. It is extremely dirty and old, I’m not really sure how it passes inspections. Second the food is just horrible. I got the general tso’s dinner which comes in a small styrofoam tub with a little bit of pork fried rice and an eggroll, $ 7.75. The rice tasted like the typical cheap Chinese joint rice with very little pork. The chicken was okay but the general tso’s sauce tasted more like Szechuan sauce lacking any sweetness or spicyness. The eggroll was dripping grease and pretty much nothing but a fried wonton stuffed with cabbage.
I also got an order of crab Rangoon and this is where the biggest disappointment was. The Rangoon itself wasn’t too bad but it had the smallest amount of filling of any I’ve ever had anywhere, like a thimble of imitation crab and cream cheese. It was mostly fried wonton. The sweet and sour sauce was even more disappointing. I have never had it anywhere that had the viscosity of water. Usually the sauces is thick like syrup. Not here. I believe they must water it down to save money. $ 4.
There aren’t any other Chinese restaurants for 30 – 40 miles so this is it if you’re craving some take out.
