I used them today for my move. Because I love my friends too much to make them help me move to a third floor walk up. Anyway, there are three A Arnold’s listed on Unilocal, all at the same address. This is the one that matched the phone number I was given. I selected A Arnold as my movers because they are BBB A+ accredited with reviews available on their website and on the BBB website. And it was worth every penny to have them move me, especially because it was to a 3rd floor. We had everything moved in 3 hours. A few annoyances: They don’t tell you, until the day before, what time they will be at your place to do the move. I wish it had been at least a couple hours later, if not in the afternoon. Whoever gave them the paperwork for today gave them the wrong address, so they didn’t show up at the right place at first. And one of my pieces of furniture was damaged in the move. I think it may be fixable. But I noticed it several hours after they had left. But since I was in one piece when it left my old place and I didn’t touch it before noticing the broken hinge… it doesn’t break itself. But some boo-boos are to be expected when movers/strangers are involved. And I wish they included ALL fees when they give you an estimate… like each mover adds $ 32 to the total. And they have a 4 hour minimum for each job. So overall, I am fairly pleased with my experience. And I don’t think I could have done this on my own or just with my friends.

Completely incompetent. They nickle and dimed us to death. Mandatory insurance, double charges, and hidden charges. They also marked all of our furniture as scratched, even the new stuff we didn’t use yet. FRAUD. And if you challenge a charge, they say they are allowed to because it’s in «The Tariffs.» Do NOT use these crooks! I wish I could give them zero stars.

My company has been using their warehouse and moving services for over 10 years. Once in a while they under-staff, but they always show up and work HARD. Joe is a regular machine, never met someone that worked harder or longer. He really cares about doing a good job.
