Generic food. I hate to start off a review this way, but it’s unfortunately true. There’s nothing original about this restaurant. Sad face. I ordered the burrito. It had chili w/beans, cheese, and chicken in it, then topped with canned nacho cheese. I personally could have made one of those frozen burritos taste better at home. The other diner had the steak sandwich and tots. Worst tot I’ve ever had. Absolutely no flavor. The steak sandwich was full of gristle and not much flavor either. The only decent thing I can say about Roosters would be the service was good and the food and drink were pretty cheap. I can firmly say I will never be back.

I don’t care for Hooters because the food is gross, but when I’m craving some greasy wings and Bleu cheese, I come here. It’s decent. 98% of the time i have good service. I’m allergic to beer, and I rarely drink cocktails, but the few cocktails that I’ve ordered here are light on alcohol. I drink maybe once every 3 to 4 months, so one drink should have me feeling something… Not here. I’m assuming that they have lots of beer, since it’s a bar, but I can’t comment on the selection. So their blue cheese dressing is quite special. It’s thick and creamy and full of blue cheese crumbles. I’ve been here at least 20 times and food wise, we’ve only ever ordered wings, appetizers, salads and chicken sandwiches. Idk about the pizza or subs or the 300 other menu items. Yes, the wings are greasy… they are fried. They will be greasy by nature. Deal with it. Also, Buffalo sauce is made with butter… And lots of it. So, expect it if you didn’t already know. Fried wings and butter sauce is greasy. I don’t even think I’ve ever had a non-greasy wing. I don’t eat this every day, so no worries. Oh yeah, then pile on the bleu cheese and it’s a diet buster. Never had dessert(seriously? After all the grease and butter and bleu cheese). It’s fun to go on a U of L or U of K game and watch the game if you can find a seat. People yelling and cheering and carrying on is entertaining… Just don’t expect much from the cocktails(eyeroll).

I’ve tried Roosters on two occasions now and neither time have I really been impressed. The last time we only went because I had a gift card. My sandwich was pretty good. My biggest peeve was it was 35 degrees outside and it was FREEZING. I think the managers knew their heater was out or something because they kept walking around looking at the thermostat. Our waitress wasn’t all that friendly either. Honestly, I prefer Beef O Brady’s over Roosters.

I have dined at Roosters many times. The wings are always very good. My friend ordered a cheese burger cooked medium. What she got was something that looked like it came from a bingo hall concession stand. For a restaurant like this I expect a fresh pattied hamburger. The burger was way over cooked. The bun was plain and too small. Shame on you owners of roosters. Your customers deserve better than this. Wake up

Overall I was fan. Went there to watch the Pats game. The food was good, the drinks were good, prices were cheap. They also have Keno which I love and noticed is only at a few places in Louisville. I’m used to it being everywhere in MA.

Good restaurant, but could use some consistency in the To Go arena. My wife & I generally get a To Go from here once every couple weeks, and one of the items we always get is a kids meal hot with tots and onion petals. When we called today, we were told you couldn’t get the kids meal hot, nor was onion petals an allowed side. So what you’re allowed to order depends on who answers the phone, which is frustrating. The wings are excellent, however, and their blue cheese dressing is the best we’ve ever had. Good atmosphere if you eat in, but remember it’s a sports bar, so don’t take your kids when a big game is on unless you’re prepared to explain what various expletives mean. Overall good though!

If your in the mood for bar food this is your place. Lots of TVs and large bar area great for watching sports. Wings are very good and come in a variety of flavors. Overall good atmosphere. Staff is nice and the wait on food is hit and miss. If your looking for a large place to hang out I recommend.

Roosters is one of my favorite spots for chicken tenders. It is the main reason I come back to the restaurant. A small order comes with(2) and the bigger order comes with(4) — doesn’t sound like a lot but they are large tenders. We also enjoy ordering sides of fries and onion rings. Salads are average. Kids meals are popular with my two boys. Food is served separately so beware! It looks cheap but when you’re hungry and order a «little of everything», your bill can add up. We’ve been several times so I can fairly state that service ranges from average to poor. I’ve never had a stellar server, typically because they are overseeing too many tables to pay attention to the customers in a timely fashion. I’d say the same for the hostesses. Most are younger hostesses without a lot of customer service skills and more interested in interacting with co-workers. Small waiting area so be prepared if you have a wait with young children. This restaurant does have a large bar area and plenty of TVs, making it ideal to meet up with buddies to watch the game. It also has a great outside patio, although the view of only of a parking lot and Shelbyville Rd.

So affordable and very decent bar food! I never finish what I order. With so many great options, the menu is perfect for a whole family or a group. The whole reason I’m Unilocaling Roosters is because our waitress was SONICE. Kaitlyn, this is your shout out. Thank you for being so pleasant and accommodating. This wasn’t our first trip to roosters and it won’t be our last!

An interesting blend of Buffalo Wild Wings & Hooters. Excellent rustic décor with lots of screens. Wings are far larger that BWW… and breaded like Hooters, but not over-breaded(unlike Hooters). Our wings were served hot and crispy. The SuperHot & Donkey sauce had good heat, but not over powering. I actually thought the Donkey Sauce was hotter than the SuperHot. Our fried pickle appetizer was on the salty side. And if you want celery and ranch or blue cheese on the side, there’s an up charge. For the health conscious, there’s grilled option and salads. Beer was cold and there’s a good selection of both tap and bottled. It’s rare when I can’t finish an order of wings, but these were so large 6 had me filled. Service was a little off. We asked for a high chair and after waiting for about 5 minutes we just took one from an empty table. Our waitress was very friendly, and our wings were served piping hot and our beer nice and cold, so overall a darn good place for wings.

I do recommend them. Food: Good food. One of my wife’s favorite places. Drinks: My medical status prevents me from providing info here. Darn-it. Facility: Spacious. Plenty of parking. Staff: They’ll get your interest. Manager Did stop by our table. Overall: 4 stars out of 5 Good food. Good atmosphere.

Rooster’s is good, decently priced, and the definition of ‘you get what you pay for’. I’ve come here a few times now, mainly because my boyfriend loves the wings. I really enjoy the curly fries, but that’s about it. The food is so-so, but it’s also decently priced, so I guess you can’t really complain that much. Like I said, you get what you pay for. Rooster’s is comparable to BW3’s in terms of atmosphere and food. Pricing is much better. Service is ok. I’ve been here before and had to give our server more grace than I would have liked to, as she was really slow and forgetful. Maybe she was in training. This is a great place for March Madness or any sports game — there are TV’s everywhere, as any sports bar should have, but that being said, it gets reaaalllly busy if there is a big game on.

Love Roosters food, we always eat inside however tonight is the first time we ordered it to go. Asked for everything we get when we eat inside. Boneless mild wings, pepperoni pizza, grilled chicken sandwich and kids boneless wings(carolina gold) with kids salad with caeser dressing. I was told by the person on the phone taking my order my son could not get carolina gold on his kids meal or caeser dressing on his salad, only ranch or bue blue chees. I told them this is what we always get when we eat in but she told me «no». «RUMOR» has it we might have to go somewhere else for carry out next time, those are not unreasonable requests!

Came in the door and they definitely remodeled the whole space. TV’s everywhere! We were here to watch a game. Crowded for the SEC playoffs. Greeted and seated quickly. Got drinks quickly. Menu pretty extensive. Ordered wings. Really disappointed. Ordered mild. No sauce apparent. Seemed greasy. Big wings. The mild was not very flavorful. Used hot sauce that was on the table to up the flavor. Wife liked her boneless wings but agreed not much spice or flavor. Waitress brought medium sauce. A lot of oil in it and spices separate. Id rather use the hotsauce in the bottle. Waitress did not check back with us after the runner brought the food. Five stars for facilities. 3 or less for food. 4 plus for menu. Maybe the pizza or subs next time. Great place to meet friends.

I have found my new wing place! BC Rooster’s is not a fancy place. It is your average sports bar with cheap beers, bar fare and wings, wings and wings!!! These wings are decent sized, fried to a grease-less crispness. Especially when you order them as I do: traditional(bone-in), naked with sauce on the side. Although they are not battered, they still somehow manage to hold on to the seasoned salt that is sprinkled on top. Their wings are simply fresher tasting than most other wings I have eaten at other places. I should know, I have eaten lots of them. A dozen sauces ranging from sweet to hot to stupid hot is available. But I find these wings are seasoned so perfectly I don’t usually use the sauces. Besides traditional wings, they also offer boneless wings, burgers, sandwiches and 9 in thin crust pizzas. Hubby LOVES the pizzas and declares them one of the best he’s had. I stick with the wings and their thinly battered fried mushrooms. If you like mushrooms, you’ll love their version. BC Roosters offers great food, opens late and their prices are quite a bit lower than The Brickhouse. I’m a fan!

Here’s the summary … Good service, fast, and clean. Food is nothing special. I think this place is literally like a family friendly Hooters… maybe a training ground? Not sure but I can’t say that I was impressed. The wings are definitely more of the breaded style — super greasy too. The medium wings were more like mild on the BW3 scale. They also come out as the full wings — all 3 parts — so it’s more work, aka more messy. One of the spotlights was the chef salad — quite good, particularly the house dressing. Light, like french, but their own twist. All, in all, I’m glad I went, as it was on the list … but probably would pass on coming back if picking again.
