My mother had cataract surgery, which was supposed to be fairly routine. During the course of her second eye surgery, they dropped pieces of the cataract they were removing into her eye, behind her cornea, requiring an emergency surgery in the hospital. The follow-​up care has been horrendous. Hours and hours of waiting in offices where she has been shifted back and forth between offices, including appointments with two doctors across town on the same day. 6 hours devoted to follow-​up visits where they shrug and say, «We’ll see if there’s any improvement in two weeks.» She can no longer read, watch television, or drive. She has gone from a life or relative independence to total dependence. I would not recommend them. Three hour waits, running back and forth between offices, and vague, unhelpful answers are the most frustrating issues.

Dr Bloom is a true professional. He really cares for his patients. I highly recommend him.

Two of the doctors botched my retinal detachment and after two excruciating surgeries told me they could no longer help me and left me with virtually no vision in one eye. I found another doctor who was able to save my vision. Less important, but still a factor was the impatience with which my questions were met, before and after each operation, resulting in my having to seemingly badger them for information. Needless to say I was not ready for the poor results.

I had Lasik surgery with Dr. Bennett over ten years ago. He did an excellent and wonderful job, and my vision is still perfect. Even better, being in my fifties — I rarely even need reading glasses. I highly recommend Dr. Bennett and the friendly staff at the center.

I had an eye emergency today and the on call doctor got me in and out within 30 minutes. He also answered his page within 3 minutes. I really appreciated his calm demeanor while I was freaking out about my eye.

These guys take great care of me. I have an odd thing with one of my eyes and the doc takes time to explain and discuss trreatment and/​or options. I never have to wait very long to be seen and the experience is always a +
