We went there on New Years Eve at 7pm. They were out of food we were told. The kitchen was closed. How do you run out of food on New Years eve. It’s a. big holiday for people to get out. On. I don’t know if I will be back.

Great place. Texas Fajitas and Chicken Nachos are really good. Service is good and the staff is friendly. They also have great margaritas. You are crazy if you are not there on Saturday nights for their $ 1.99 margaritas.

Easily my favorite place to eat in Louisville. Great food and friendly staff. Seriously the best Mexican food I have ever have. I cannot say enough good things about this place!

Good value. Never busy. But it is a little dirty, and it is not the greatest of food.
The service is good and friendly. I go here often because it is close, affordable, and decent food. But, in all honesty, it’s average.

The only reason they’re getting 2 stars is because I like they’re chile rellenos so much. Their service is slow, they’re rude and don’t care that they’re providing crappy service. Last night we went with 4 adults and needed to high chairs and they tried to seat us in a standard booth then argued when we asked to be say elsewhere.

I came for the buffet.
On the plus side, service was friendly and quick. Also on the plus side, the iced tea was freshly brewed and delicious. The restaurant was clean.
Unfortunately, the food was lousy.
* Everything is very bland. Mexican food doesn’t have to be hot, but it gets its flavor from a variety of herbs and spices. I couldn’t taste any of this at El Rodeo.
* All items are clearly chosen to appeal to gringos. Lots of enchiladas and burritos, which unfortunately all taste the same.
* The cheese in and on everything (enchiladas, burritos, quesadillas) was not real. Instead, it was pasteurized processed cheese food.
I will not be back.

Food is consistently delicious and staff is courteous and efficient. This place is much cleaner and better than Mexico Tipico.
