it seems all of the locations have closed but the one in middeltown acrooss from the mcdonadls and the govt center. I went there 3 times a week a week for lunch when i worked in hurstboune green, also ate at the one on frankfort. I dont know why they all closed but the food it is all good, salads and pizza. The one in middeltown has the lunch buffet. worth a try if you like Pizza.

Really good and great service, but y’all have a LOT of nerve calling that a Turkey Club Wrap. «Club» implies toasted bread and bacon. Clearly no bread is involved in a wrap, but also no bacon? That’s just a turkey wrap. And a kind of depressing one. I’ll stick with the pizza from now on.

A 10 minute drive from downtown Louisville, a visit to Fat Jimmy’s Pizza is worth the trip! The restaurant is located in the middle of a neighborhood on a two-block stretch that feels a little like Main Street USA. There’s a small parking lot behind the storefronts where Fat Jimmy’s Pizza is located. Inside, you’ll find some tables. Have a seat and someone will come take your order. We got the unbeatable lunch special of two slices and a soda for $ 5. I really liked that they offer this special on weekends, in addition to weekdays. The slices were large. You’ll be filled up if you eat them both. We loved that the crust was crispy on the outside and a little softer on the inside. The guy working when we visited was super chill and friendly. He asked us where we were from and seemed genuinely interested in knowing more about us than simply what we wanted to eat. The restaurant has lots of pictures of customers on the wall, sprinkled in with some Louisville Cardinals stuff. Above the checkout counter, there’s a big white board that had some really neat Cardinals artwork drawn in dry-erase marker.

This was my first love affair with non-chain pizza. My friends and I came here probably weekly throughout high school. Get the bacon/chicken/ranch pizza(I’m not sure if that’s what it’s called) — it’s my favorite. If you’re a regular, perhaps they’ll put your picture on the wall(or not — despite my best efforts). Service is friendly, atmosphere relaxed, food delicious. What more can you ask for? I also recommend going to their Bardstown Rd. location for their all-you-can-eat lunch buffet. Just make sure you don’t plan on eating anything else that day.

Yes, Greg B. and I went here a lot when we lived in St. Matthews. But I love Fat Jimmy’s because it !@#$-ing good and cheap. The best pizza for my money anywhere. When we didn’t get take-out, we would dine in the cool restaurant/bar on Frankfort Ave. This pizza is so good, I once had a food emergency for a wacky promotion I was in charge of for my job. The contestants in the contest were starving. The only food vendor I could get to donate food was Skyline Chili, and these people had their fill of chili. I called Fat Jimmy’s and picked up seven large pizzas. The contestants were extremely thankful and loved the pizza as well. They kept asking me, «Where’d you get this pizza? It’s so good.» I replied, «Fat Jimmy’s.»

We lived in the St. Matthews neighborhood and always loved the pepperoni pizza at Fat Jimmy’s. Dine in or take-out, it’s all good in the ‘hood. Jimmy got fat because he ate up all that delicious pizza pie!
