I was unfortunate enough to be in need of some body work after a dumb collision that was my fault. I was very happy with the work that Glasers did. I can’t really speak to price since the insurance footed the bill. It was expensive, but that’s to be expected when you smash up newer cars these days. What impressed me was the service and attentiveness from the Glaser’s staff. They called every day with updates and also sent text messages with detailed progress on my car. They also were able to tow my car to the facility. When I messed up and went to the wrong location to pick up my car, they happily had someone drive my car to me in a few short minutes. My car looks good as new now, and even though it was not a fun situation, Glasers made the most of it.

I have mixed feelings about this place. We’ve taken several cars there over the years and their body work is good. It’s the little stuff you find down the road. My daughter had her Passat there for front end damage about 18 months ago and all went well. Last week, her AC went out. I checked it out today and the wiring to the compressor was cut by the serpentine belt. Obviously routed wrong. Upon further inspection, other wiring was dangerously close to the same fate. Also, the rubber pads that the hood rests on when shut were just set in place and not fastened like they should have been. Also, and this is a few years back, we had to fight them and our insurance company on an issue on my wife’s Accord that occurred after a repair. They totally sided with the insurance company until an independent mechanic proved them wrong. The adjuster was rather arrogant about it, too. I actually ended up saving Nationwide money on the repair. I was a little arrogant about that myself. The hood latch on this car never worked right, either. So, with all that said, if you need straight body repair, hit them up. If it’s major front end damage, maybe look somewhere else. They also did a door, fender repair and a minor rear bumper, trunk lid repair on the Honda and no problems. Customer service was adequate and repairs were finished when promised. This was the Preston Hwy. location.

They repair not only your cars body, but your car owner mentality. I had the unfortunate need to find a body shop after a small pot hole did almost 5K in damage to my newly purchased Scion XB. I was referred to Glaser by my insurance as a certified dealer with USAA. I have come to learn that any place recommended by USAA should not be taken lightly. My whole passenger side assembly in the front had to be replaced and my passenger door was scraped down to the metal. Luckily, due to the extent of my repairs, I had a rental for 30 days. My customer service experience was excellent! All of my car information was sent over to the company after hours and first thing in the morning I received a confirmation of the agreement and arrangements where made to have my car towed. I did have to have my car towed to the body shop, but was called by Glaser’s after they had received the car and completed their first estimate. I was unable to make it out to the location to sign for the initial approval of repairs, so they offered to email me a copy to sign, scan, and email back so I did not have to make an extra trip. It was a blessing to be able to correspond via email with such a busy schedule. I was quoted a completion date and then rested easy. Unfortunately, the replacement door to my car was on back order but I was constantly contacted with each delay. I do not blame Glaser’s for misquoting me for another manufacturers delivery issues. When my car was complete, I was contacted and told that they would return my rental car for me. I drove over in my rental on my lunch hour, signed all my paperwork, paid my deductible, and exchanged my rental car key for my Scion. I was given an itemized description of all the work completed on my car as a reference if I had any questions or issues down the road with the repairs completed. I had one question about a decal on my car and a technician immediately walked over and went over all the work with user friendly explanations. I fell in love with my car all over again and all the mental anguish of the event was erased from my mind, though not my pocket book. I would recommend this USAA Certified body shop to anyone needing repairs.
