Kroger

I will have to say I am a little shocked to see this Kroger has four stars across the board, but I’m also here to add to that trend. This Kroger is my go-​to during work Kroger. That means I’ll come in for non-​perishables such as bread, peanut butter, beer and wine. Actually, probably the only few items I have bought from this Kroger. I usually come around my lunch time and pick up some items so I don’t have to deal with that after work rush. Hurstbourne is a nightmare after work. I will say the customer service in this Kroger is phenomenal. They are always helpful and very knowledgeable about the store. I have walked around enough to see that their selection is a little more limited than some of the other larger Kroger’s around town, but I actually find that charming. It’s nice to have a less overwhelming experience. Some of the Krogers have become so large that I immediately want to turn around and walk out. This Kroger is homey and most definitely a neighborhood store. I hope they are able to maintain it because I love coming here during lunch and getting the items I need to avoid the crowds after work. It’s got some cleanliness issues, but hey I do most of my shopping at Dirty Kroger so I’m cool with it! Customer service goes along way. I’ll continue to come here and enjoy my lunch trips.

The Kroger is tucked into the Plainview neighborhood and super convenient for its neighbors and nearby businesses. While not as large as others, it still offers a solid selection of fruits, veggies, salad bar and deli/​bakery. The shelves are always stocked well, sales are clearly marked and the cashiers are friendly.

My family has been going to this Kroger for years! I love that it’s not huge and everything is easy to find. Employees are always friendly and they know us by name! There is however one particular lady that’s a manager here that is less than pleasant. Not going to mention names but if you’re a regular here you probably know who she is. Get her in check and this place will be perfect!

I shop at this particular Kroger because it’s next to my son’s work so I pass it twice a day! Yesterday I baked the perfect bread, so I thought to stop here for some deli meats! The deli girl over charged me and when I questioned the price she pointed to it on the label and said «here is the sale price!» Which she had at $ 6.62 per pound but in the window it was advertised at $ 6.49 per pound. I know it’s not much but if you do that to every person, every day it adds up! Not to mention, she rolled her eyes at me in discussed and was hardly pleasant! Rather than argue with her I stepped away and put the package in the egg display and left!

What has happened to smiling cheerful employees? People act as if they are in a bad mood and hate their jobs! It’s ridiculous! I’m really starting to wonder about Louisville KY! Why is everyone miserable here? It truly is a serious problem!

I love this Kroger! It’s smaller but it’s got great sales and still a pretty good selection. The staff is awesome too! If you are close its definitely the place to hit. The traffic sucks however on Hurstbourne so I wouldn’t go out of my way to go here or anything, but I used to live very close and it was great. Easily my favorite Kroger to live near in terms of running in and out.

This Kroger is smaller than most. The staff is very friendly and attentive. There is a Pharmacy, fuel station and a small liquor store being constructed.
