I’ve complained so many times about their produce dept it sometimes appears to have gotten better, but then I’m disappointed AGAIN; and for $ 8.00 a # for Derby City Chicken Salad you d think they would remember to CUT up the chicken and put a little mayo in it!

We stop at this Kroger quite often as it’s on our way home from many of the trips we take. It’s very convenient to get in and out. They have a very good variety of groceries, fresh produce and good quality meats. The service is usually very good as long as you don’t go at the very busy times. Prices are a bit high so you have to watch what you buy but, you can pick up some bargains if you watch the sales. If you have a card your purchase amounts go on your account and then you get cents off per gallon on gas. Really helps with the gouged high prices today.

Good deals. Kroger customers get coupons in mail. Plus easy coupon app. for extra savings. Krogers brands are as good, as higher brand names. Personal is friendly. Produce is fresh. Shopping Carts Don’t Always Roll…

where do i begin? WATCHEXPIRATIONDATES Can’t tell you how many times I have purchased expired dairy items such as cheese and yogurt. I never buy anything from the dairy section without checking the dates now. Also, they had a display of about 30 packages of pumpkin bread in the bakery — all expired 2 months prior. I told a red vest and she said she would take are of it. My husband went to the same store the next day and all the bread was still there minus the expiration stickers — you could clearly see where they had all been removed. I purchased boar’s head lunch meat from the deli and when I got home it reeked of rotten eggs. How could a worker not smell meat that was that rotten? Should I even begin on the lack of cleanliness in the deli section? What is the purpose of wearing gloves if you are going to touch your hair and face with the gloves and then proceed to touch the meat and cheese. Won’t even buy from the deli department anymore… These are too many incidences to believe this store is truly monitoring expiration dates. THEYDONOTKNOWHOWTOBAGGROCERIES 4 times in the last month they have put chicken in with apples, lettuce, cucumber — the baggers really have no respect for the customers. Also, they continually bag heavy items on top of bread, eggs. Just common sense… DONOTGIVEYOUALLOFYOURGROCERIES Again a continual habit of theirs — even the red vests. This store has gone down hill quickly and severely since Ms. Harrod left. I know the workers did not care for her but probably because they had to do their job. She kept a ship shape store and had her workers actually do work. This store does have the best produce in the area. These workers tend to keep the produce looking good, but a lot of them are older aged employees — who have a work ethic. Not these younger people — and I don’t just mean kids in their teens or 20’s. This store has issue with the middle aged employees as well.

Our grocery store of choice. Great produce and meats. Friendly staff knows the wife and kids by name and greets them every time. Right by the house and perfect for what we need. Good selection of organic food as well. Check the clearance table for great deals on a variety of goods.

This Kroger is great except for the produce department. Everywhere else in the store they are responsive to customer requests(like they now carry the tea bags that we asked for). Really nice customer service people.
