I recently needed my oil changed, as I was visiting family in Louisville, KY, and I went to walmart, as it was close by and where I have usually gone for my vehicle oil changes, however, my experience at Walmart was terrible, I received terrible customer service and decided I would rather take my business and money elsewhere. I stopped by this Meineke location, shop #1247 on Dixie Highway, and explained that I needed my vehicles oil changed as I was heading back to Kansas City that day. Although the shop was very busy, (it was a Saturday morning) the shop manager there, Chris, was very helpful and offered to get my car serviced, He not only got my vehicles oil changed in a very timely manner, he and his staff were very professional and friendly. This was the best oil change experience I’ve had in a long time, they took care of my car and I was back on the road in under 30mins. these guys actually care about quality customer service and doing things right. I will recommend this Meineke location to my family and friends for their future car care needs. I typically don’t take the time to write reviews on places, but after such a great experience I felt they deserved it. Great job Chris and shop staff!!!

If you’ve never been a victim of a robbery and want to have the experience of one… just visit this place. I was getting some chatter on my right front tire so I knew I was due for a brake job. I stopped in here for a free estimate which I appreciate. After my car was inspected I was given a quote of $ 286.00 to replace front brakes and the driver side rotor. Needless to say the work was not done because that is outrageous! I understand them being in business and needing to be profitable, but that is gouging. I went to O’Reilly’s and paid $ 40 for a new rotor, $ 20 for pads, and gave my 19 year old son $ 40 to change it out. For $ 100, and an hours work from my son the work was done, and I saved $ 186.00. I will never visit a Meineke again after this awful experience. That quote may work on an idiot, but it’s way too much to pay for a brake job even with replacing a rotor. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else, or do the work yourself. You’ll save a ton of «your» money!
