Popeyes

I enjoy fried chicken a great deal, methinks too much. Popeyes is worth the years and years it takes off your life.
I like Popeyes because the staff is at the same time efficient and surly — but just with each other — and unlike other chicken-​in-​the-​grease places near (or in this case near-​ish) where I work, CLEAN. I just want to take a second to hold hands with you and praise Jesus that this place is clean.
I love spicy chicken and this is a great place to get some in bone-​in spicy chicken or spicy chicken tenders. There are great choices in sides and I’m pretty sure none of them are good for you in the traditional sense but if you want something healthy you should probably not eat restaurants where you don’t have to get out of your car to get the food.
They also have frequent specials so keep an eye out for their marquee.

What do you want, really? It’s fried chicken from a major chain, fast-​food restaurant. Having said that, I LOVE Popeye’s. And I love fried chicken. It’s better than KFC. Not as good as Indi’s or Dixie Chicken.
Decently priced fried chicken. And it is fast. And the restaurant is clean.
Love the red beans and rice as a side. Really good. Better than anything from KFC.

Changed mgt. Tried it. It looks ALOT cleaner. That is its only improvement. That brought the second star. Service is still slow and innaccurate. Went through the drive thru. Was asked to pull over. Sat in the Sultry Southern Heat for about 35 minutes with 5 other cars. STILL got ripped off! Ordered the 5 wing special. Got 4. Ordered 12 onion rings. Got 6. Wait another 2 years and try again. i like Popeyes food.
