The people are friendly and knowledgeable in all your radio control needs. ((The track is Not at the hobby shop location))The off-​road track is great! One of the best I ever been to.

All I have to say is if you are dropping off an RC vehicle make sure that a guy named sam is NOT the one that works on it. I dropped my traxxas ¹⁄₁₀^th 2 months ago and picked it up today only because I’m tired of waiting and barely anything was done. I’m not sure if he doesent have a clue what he is doing or just very lazy! The rest of the guys there are very nice and very willing to help and get you what you need in a timely manner.

Not really sure how long this store has been around but I’d guess it was recently renovated along with the entire shopping center when the Kroger’s here got a recent upgrade. If I’d found it earlier, I suspect my dad wouldn’t mind visiting Louisville quite as much, because this is about as true to a R/​C hobbyist’s wet dream of a shop as there is. THIS IS NOT A HOBBY LOBBY!
My dad had a similar business when I was a kid when he and a fellow local R/​C model enthusiast started their own store in our little hometown. It did not fare well in our little town of 2,000 but it was at least a fond memory — popping in after walking from school and checking out the plastic models, model airplanes, cars and boats.
Anyhow, visiting this store brought back some of those old memories, and they appear to have many of the things the burgeoning R/​C modeler wants to put their hands on: model airplanes, slot cars, trains, cars, etc., etc.
I’ll have to see if I can convince the old man to pop in here the next time he’s in town, it’ll be nice to see his face light up like a little kid in a candy store (or an old hobby shop.)

Everytime the missus and i head to the falls city, this place is the first place we stop. For her sake to get it out of the way.
Great model selection. But most importantly to me, they stock decal sheets. No other brick and mortar hobby shop i’ve been to does. Usually have to go to model shows and swap meets for this selection. Knowledgable staff that is very active in the louisville modelling community, they offer club discounts.
Cool place.
Then it’s off to Lily’s for dinner.

If you are a modeler do not miss stopping into see Brian and the crew! Air and armor kits plus aftermarket, decals, paints, tools, etc. plus trains and RC stuff for those with cruder tastes (wink).
