We had the gonzo at flea on market and were pleasantly surprised. The cookies taste like the cookies in the mall so nothing wrong there. The ice cream was good as well only problem was that we had to wait for it to thaw before devouring it. Ok so we didn’t wait, we tried our best to eat it while it was still frozen solid. Nice concept that has a good product

I cannot say enough good things about Tasty Tuxedo!!! I am borderline obsessed. Okay maybe just flat out obsessed. How can you not LOVE this concept– frozen treats served from the sidecar of an old fashioned motorcycle… under a classic red and white striped umbrella… By smiling guys in tuxes and bow ties?! Who, by the way, are SO friendly! Their ice cream sandwiches feature cookies from Sweets By Millie and are simply to die for. I’ve tasted the Gonzo(their bestseller), and their 4th of July themed sandwich. The gonzo is 2 funfetti cookies with pistachio almond ice cream, and the 4th of July is vanilla with sugar cookies. I went crazy over the Gonzo, and the 4th of July was so yummy too. They sell Popsicles from Please and Thank You, and push pops with Gelato Gilberto gelato. I want to try the Popsicles and push pops but, being an ice cream fiend, it’s gonna be so hard for me to steer away from those ice cream sandwiches… I suppose I’ll just have to get both!

Phenomenal, gourmet ice cream sandwiches, Popsicles, and gelato pops — check. Fun, pop-up locations using jazzed up, motorbikes — check. Knowledgable and friendly folks happy to take your credit card in exchange for goodies — double check! How can you not fall in love with Tasty Tuxedo Treat’s HUGE ice cream sandwiches during these dog days of Ohio Valley summer?!? Silky, ice cream between a pair of soft, chewy cookies is a dream come true. After getting the scoop on the selections of the day, while eating our way through the Flea Off Market, my friend immediately went for the KY Home and I grabbed the BananaLammaDingDong(each $ 5). The KY Home sandwiches mint chip ice cream(with bourbon) between two, super-fudgy, chocolate cookies. It was gone in minutes! My BLDD was the frozen equivalent of homemade, banana pudding, an old fashioned favorite. Banana ice cream and whipped cream become a portable delight when paired with oversized, vanilla cookies. Almost too big for me to finish, but I managed. Can’t wait to try the other sandwiches and the fun pops!

How could you **not** love artisan ice cream sandwiches and tasty popsicles!!! And even more so, how could you **not** love these treats, which are a collaboration among local favorites!!! And even MORE so, how could you **not** love these cool desserts when they are being served out of a motorcycle sidecar by a gent dappered out in a tuxedo!!! You can’t NOT love it. So don’t even try. Just give in. Tasty Tuxedo is pretty new on the ol’ Louisville mobile food market but is nonetheless making a pretty big name for itself. I first came across Tasty Tuxedo at GonzoFest this year, which was Tasty Tuxedo’s first event, I believe.(Yep, my hipster is showing. I liked them before it was cool to.) And I was immediately smitten with its Gonzo ice cream sandwich, a special treat made with funfetti cookies and pistachio almond ice cream. The ice cream sandwich was bigger than any ice cream sandwich I had ever eaten, making it an especially rich treat. I love the combo of pistachio and sugar cookies — two favorites — and the ratio of ice cream to cookie was right on, which meant that the ice cream did not melt all over my hands before I could finish eating it. I’m a bit surprised that no one else in Louisville has seized on the humble ice cream sandwich to make it bigger and better. Kudos to Tasty Tuxedo for seeing this gap in the local ice cream market. And what makes Tasty Tuxedo’s Gonzo so fabulous is the fact that they worked with Sweets by Millie on the cookies and Louisville Cream on the ice cream — two other relatively new, buzzworthy Louisville businesses. Tasty Tuxedo also sells a Banana Lama Ding Dong sandwich, with vanilla wafers, banana ice cream and whipped cream, and a chocolate/mint/bourbon Kentucky Home sandwich. I can’t wait to try these! And along with sandwiches, Tasty Tuxedo sells King of Pops popsicles, which come from Atlanta. I first came across King of Pops at Forecastle. This sweet, cool treat was the saving grace on a particularly hot day. I hadn’t seen them outside the music festival until I spied them coming out of Tasty Tuxedo’s sidecar. While I wish King of Pops was local — because that would be AWESOME — I’m so glad that Tasty Tuxedo has made them available in Louisville. I’m excited to see what Tasty Tuxedo does next, whether it’s new ice cream sandwich combos or bringing in even more local favorites.

So my favorite find in DC the last time I went was a food truck that made customized ice cream sandwiches.(Captain Cookie DC, if you are ever there, look them up.) I had it for the first time and thought, we NEED something like this in Louisville. Lo and behold, along comes Tasty Tuxedo! Motorcycles, side cars filled with frozen treats, and popsicle bowties. The options consist of ice cream sandwiches with cookies made by Sweets by Millie. I’ve had the Gonzo(Funfetti cookies with pistachio ice cream) which has been the tastiest thing I’ve had all summer. I’ve been searching for them since and finally found them today at Resurfaced. I got the same ice cream sandwich and will eventually get a Popsicle. Maybe. Maybe. The ice cream sandwich is too good. Check them out and convince me to get a Popsicle. Follow them on Instagram to know their locale @TastyTuxedo.

I love their gimmick. Selling frozen, delicious goods out of the refrigerated side-car thing. I’ll be honest… I haven’t had one of their ice cream sandwiches yet. What I have had are the KINGOFPOPS popsicles that they sell. King of Pops is the love of my frozen desserts life. And now that someone in town sells their tasty treats… I don’t have to try and tell myself that I could *totally* afford the shipping for ordering my own popsicles! And now they have frequent buyer’s card! After 10, get the 11th free.
