Shelby was amazing. She made my hair look better than it has in years. In the 12 hours since I left, I have gotten over a dozen compliments on my new haircut. I cannot say enough nice things about her and this place.
The place had a nice unique feel about it. It was homey and chic all at the same time. It had a great flow.

Omg, I am so happy with my hair and what my stylist, Jessica did for me. I just moved here from Florida, and I was so hesitant on getting my hair done because I have only had one stylist in my life touch my hair. They had the Redken EQ shades that my old stylist put in my hair and my hair turned out exactly like in Florida. She took direction and advice well, so that I could get the best hair job ever! Thank you guys so much, all staff was friendly and eager to assit. I all ready scheduled my next appointment and now can feel at ease with this salon!

I have been coming to The Chopping Block for a couple years now. I have always been treated politely, had great service and thoroughly enjoyed my time here. They do everything from hair and nails to make-​up, massages, facials and more. I’m not the easiest person to please, but this staff goes above and beyond to make sure I am more than satisfied each time I visit. Once I got home and thought I wanted a couple more highlights. I was able to get back in that week and wasn’t charged extra to make it exactly the way I wanted. THANK YOU!!!

Usually got my hair at great clips or super cuts my whole life. It wasn’t high on my priority list figuring out where I wanted to get my hair cut but eventually got sick of the inconsistency in the hair cuts at those places and came to the Chopping Block. Men’s hair cuts are priced reasonably here (~25 $) and they are very professional and consistent. Everything runs on time, and never had to wait if I had an appointment. Ask for Chelsey, she is great!

I followed Echo up to the Chopping Block, and I have to say, I’m glad she moved. The place is nice, the staff friendly, and I just can’t say enough nice things about them all. I met the owner/​manager last time I was there, and she is really a sweet person. And my wife and I walked out of there looking better than we had in years. I even had a nice sit outside while my wife was getting her first coloring done, and the neighborhood was pleasant.

Had an eyebrow wax and pedicure Saturday afternoon, both with Rachael. I should have known it was going to be a sub-​par experience when she said I was her last customer and that she’d already done two wedding parties that morning. At 2:30 p.m. I was not expecting the rushed service I received. I told Rachael the sides of my eyebrows are thin so be careful. She plucked every last hair. I can only pray they grow back. And she spent zero time above my eyebrow getting those little random hairs. Guess she spent too much of her 4-​minute eyebrow wax taking off the sides of my eyebrows.
The pedicure was mediocre at best and absolutely painful when she pushed back my cuticles. I was completely done and paying by 3:05.
We were told it would take an hour so I had to wait in the lobby for a half hour until my ride came back. A good 20 minutes after I paid I got quizzed by the receptionist whether I’d paid already to the point where I offered to show her my receipt. She again cited being frazzled because of the two wedding parties.
A truly bad experience all around. For $ 60 plus a $ 15 tip I expect more then thirty minutes of rushed, unfocused pampering. Awful experience.

It’s been a while, but I was always pretty impressed with Chopping Block. I can’t speak for the other stylists, but Greg always did my hair, and I always got good cuts from him. Prices were on par with other salons, and they do a good job scheduling — I rarely had to wait long. Atmosphere was nice, too.
