Vint

Ran in on my way to the Ali Center for an event about 5 minutes before they were to close (didn’t realize till later) and the barista was super nice. I ordered mocha and my niece got caramel frozen something decaf. Mocha was good but the frozen drink was awesome! Will come back again and try something new.

I was in Louisville on business trip for 5 weeks. This was my everyday caffeine fix place. The staff is super friendly and always smiling. The coffee is very consistent and the house special mint julep coffee was pretty good too. I was disappointed that like most of the places in Louisville downtown, they close at 6.
They also have vegan and gluten free protein bars, they tasted so fresh and amazing.

The 4 stars are for the coffe and service not atmosphere. It is not a sit down coffee place. Not comfort inducing. Just FYI. Got a café late and great service from two very nice ladies!

Vint coffee as a whole is great. The coffee would get 5 stars. This location should probably only get 2, but I am quite torn to judge the small chain on this spot that is clearly set up to be ONLY and grab and go place. Just wanted to set that straight.
Don’t go here to work, study or do anything but get an awesome coffee and walk right back out the door. I had a caramel mocha that was extremely tasty, not too terribly sweet (as they often are!) and reasonably priced. Vint coffee has it right. But this location doesn’t even have a bathroom. Yup. They suggested that I go across the street to the KY Center. I felt super rude, but hey when you gotta go. I also made the mistake of coming here instead of popping into Mrs. Potter’s to hop on an online conference, where luckily I only had to listen and not talk. Why? Because the internet was shotty at best and eventually I gave up and used the KY Center’s. They should be giving their employees free coffee or something since they can’t function without them.
And they had no outlets. At a coffee shop. Ugh. This was an infuriating experience that I won’t make again. Good for coffee and I’ll just leave it at that for future reference!

The thing I like most about Vint is that it is right across the street from my office. It is a great location for me and the staff is super friendly. They have my order memorized! Now granted, this could be because I am in there too often and they know I am addicted to caffeine, but I don’t really care. I think it is great that in a bigger city there can still be a small town feel with a local coffee shop. The coffee is great and the pastries are wonderful for that 4pm snack craving. Just the right pick me up to get you through the rest of the day.
This location is small so it is not good for a sit down coffee meeting unless it is nice enough to sit outside. It is more of a grab and go spot, but I think that fits it’s location perfectly.
