Friendly people and good service. Unfortunately the food is made from the absolutely cheapest ingredients. I was there on meat loaf day which was almost all bread crumbs and little meat but to make up for it it was stone cold when served. The gravy even came with a skin on it. Heaven help you if you order the chicken and dumplings. Dumplings are the consistency and flavor of kindergarten white paste with a few bits of chicken throw In. Actually I think the kindergarten paste has a little more flavor. You can’t make good food with cheap ingredients. Pick another place to eat!

I don’t know why the poor reviews for this Cracker Barrel??? The only bad thing I can say is it gets busy on the weekends but other than that the food is great and the country store is really cool as well…

The service and the food was excellent. Absolutely no complaints. All four of us left very full and happy. Thank you.

I’ve been eating good basic food in Cracker Barrels for more years than I care to mention. This one stands out, not for its excellence, but for its mediocrity. I ordered grits, eggs over medium, and fried apples. And coffee, of course. The grits and eggs came out stone cold. There was hardly anyone else there at 10 a.m., so it wasn’t that they were awfully busy. I sent my plate back, and it came out cold again. I realized the problem was that the plates were ice cold. They had put the monkey dish of fried apples into the microwave, so it was gloppy and I burned my tongue on it. At the checkout the nice lady asked me how it was, and I told her they need to be heating the plates. I’m a former chef, so I know about this. She called her manager, who took his time getting there. I explained, and he took a whole two dollars off my check… right. I gave the two dollars to the waitress, who was a sweet lady. As if the food wasn’t bad enough, the coffee was bitter and cold. Fail!

The Cracker barrel is a country store and a restaurant. It was packed on Sunday morning, so I decided to shop the store while waiting for a table. The store was a bit cliché. They have old timey candies, movies, and the like… which does not appeal to me. They do have horehound candy, a birch beer that does not taste like Pepto, and moon pies. The store is a mixture between a garage sale, a swap meet, and a baked sale. The restaurant was a great breakfast choice. Any place that has country ham on the menu has a special place in my heart, so I ordered the country boy breakfast. Country ham, biscuits and gravy, 3 eggs, hash brown casserole, grits, fried apples, and I added sausage patties for good measure. All of it was good and the prices were fantastic. I would recommend going at least once.

What a great experience at Cracker Barrel! We were seated in a timely fashion by a courteous host, and our waitress, Carly, was the absolute sweetest! She recommended menu items to fit what we were looking for and was so friendly! Food came quickly and was excellent.

Being from the south I almost feel guilty for writing this. I have given CB4 opportunities to impress me throughout this great country(including 3 in the south) & have sadly been let down. My wife, mother in law & myself stopped in for dinner at this location and ordered chicken fried chicken, pork chop platter & fried shrimp. My chicken fried chicken lacked flavor and the gravy(almost cold) had a weird taste to it. My turnip greens were also cold and lacked flavor. My wife’s pork chops were dry & very under seasoned. Mother in laws fried shrimp was okay to her and she took leftovers home with her. I am from the south & I absolutely love southern food, this chain misses the mark.

Had the worst experience there. Took forever to get waited on, was served raw chicken, then had to wait 40 minutes for new one. Was told by the waiter that the only way I wouldn’t have to pay for it was to demand it to be free. Manager did nothing. terrible service and food.

I have never eaten at a Cracker Barrel but my wife and I decided to try it. I didn’t know what to order since it was my first time so I went with the Sampler dinner. It is supposed to come with chicken and dumplings, meat loaf and a piece of ham. We received our food very quickly and I noticed that I did not get any meatloaf with my meal so the next time the waitress came by I mentioned it to her and she apologized and told me she would be right back. A few minutes later she came back to our table and told me that the kitchen was out of meatloaf so she was unable to get any. This would not have been an issue if she would have maybe substituted something else or came up with some sort of solution instead of just saying«sorry we are out» and walking away. We didn’t see her the rest of the time we were there and when we asked to talk with a manager about it when we paid our bill we waited for 5 or 6 minutes and finally just left. I didn’t want my meal for free or anything like that just wanted to express our disappointment in the service. Also they already tack on their tip on your bill so if you don’t pay attention than you could end up double tipping. On the way to our car I mentioned to my wife that it was a good thing I didn’t order the meatloaf meal(Im not a huge fan of it anyways) or else I would have just received my 3 sides of veggies and nothing else.) LOL

The best southern breakfast in colorado. If you don’t like southern cooking, don’t eat here. Simple :)

This was a 2 star place at best. The good we ordered came to us late and cold. The ham was super duper dry, the corn bread tasted like flour without sugar, the grits were some of the worst I’ve ever had in my life. Now the pancakes and the biscuits were really good and the chicken fried steak was fantastic even though the gravy on it was cold and harden by the time it got to me. Only if I got it hot. I had high hopes because I’ve wanted to go to this place for years and now I know I will never go back. We told the server our food was cold and she offer to put it onto a hot plate like that would help. She then offered to and I quote«to nuke it» like we wanted to pay for«nuked food». Granted she was trying to be helpful but come on. Manger came by and offered to take a little of the bill and he really a meant a little. It’s sad because I wanted to love this place, but in the end he came up 3 stars short of perfection. I’m sad now. Didn’t even finish my food. Figured why waste the calories.

If I could give this place a minus one I. Would. i ate there with my family this thanksgiving 2014. Me and my wife ordered the turkey dinner. The store bought looking slices of turkey were so small that I thought it was a joke. It was covered with what tastes like can gravy that was at best warm. The stuffing it look like it was some type of potato mixed in with a bunch of other stuff that looked like dog crap. The so called sweet potato was liquified soup on my plate and for desert they only had apple pie. No ice cream, no other offer was made for any other desert. I will never eat there again.

Service was great! The wait staff is super friendly. I also really appreciate how fast things were made. I don’t like waiting around for a check or food. The food itself was pretty bland. I got their chicken and dumplings(it was highlighted, so I thought it was one of their featured items). It was really flavorless. The chicken seemed like just boiled chicken and the dumplings were like pure dough. I don’t think I want to come back for that dish. On the bright side, they have the BEST biscuits! I never had biscuits so buttery and soft. Pure bliss. Don’t waste your time ordering their cornbread.

Not happy with the overall service and food anymore. Dining room was dirty. Took 15 min to get drinks and more than 30 min for a few veg sampler plates.

I sent my parents the frog couple fountain for their 50th wedding anniversary and somehow misplaced the pump for it. I was so upset because the corporate office told me they did not have any replacements. I spoke to Corey and Alice at the Loveland store and they were amazing. They actually found a spare pump in the back and are shipping to my parents house for free. I was all ready to have to purchase a brand new fountain but they saved the day! GREATCUSTOMERSERVICE

What’s not to like about Cracker Barrel? I got a little shopping done beforehand and finished my morning with a nice, affordable breakfast. Our waiter was super friendly but not overly so. We were well attended to without being bothered. My friend enjoyed the meal she got(which was a little bit of everything; eggs, toast, grits, sausage, apples, hashbrowns) and I really liked my meal. I was trying to keep it on the lighter side so I ordered the One Egg n’ Bacon(or Sausage) meal and was very happy. It came with biscuits but I substituted whole wheat toast and was very pleased. I got that and some hot tea all for about $ 7. WHAT. Breakfast win. Seriously.

Country boy is big but it’s got a lil bit of everything. I’m a guy who like a taste of everything, so there it is.

I recently ate here with a large group. The food was yummy, service was good and the overall experience was very pleasant. A member of the group ordered one of the breakfast specials and I said, «Wow! It looks just like the picture!» The store in the front was fun as well. And the seemingly-long line moved along very quickly.

PANCAKES!!! If you like pancakes then you will love these pancakes. They have comfort foods and southern dishes. Haven’t had a desire to try anything else since the pancakes are SO good. For this specific location I would suggest going there during the week or earlier on Sunday before church lets out. The wait can get long. Service is good, the food can be really quick or can take longer we experienced both.

We’ve been in Cracker Barrels around the country in our travels and I must admit they are consistent. They all have the same décor and down-home ambiance and the food is always the same. It’s just that the food really isn’t all that good. Eggs ordered over-medium always arrive over-easy or over-hard and I’m not really sure how they manage to get sausage patties so dry. From now on I think we’ll put a little more effort into finding nice, locally-owned cafes for breakfast instead of national chains like Cracker Barrel. I guess that’s what Unilocal is good for.
