My partner was having chowda feva! So we decided to stop by this place in the middle of an industrial area? I had read somewhere there’s warm soup but nope I was wrong. Everything here is frozen or freshly refrigerated so take note of this! So begins the grueling 9+ hour journey home with soup in my trunk hoping that they won’t get confiscated while we crossed the border. I was in fear, not so much about the soups disappearing but more of the wrath(from the lady) that might have to endure should these soups get caught at the border. Anyhow, some 10 hours or so later we’ve made it. We warmed the soups up and they tasted heavenly! The chowder even better than the ready made ones we had in Boston! It had so much clams it was a little overbearing. The other lobster soups and crab soups were equally delicious. Highly recommended.

After seeing the great reviews here, we went and bought two cans of chowder. We threw both away. Waste of money.

I found out about this from my father-in-law who discovered it online. The lady at the counter was SO friendly and clearly proud of her company. The New England clam chowder is awesome! I also bought chicken noodle soup which I haven’t tried yet. It is in an industrial park in Lowell not far from the Tewksbury line

Great chowder that you can purchase in a large bag and warm in a crock pot. Great lobster ravioli, I make a tomato vodka sauce, delicious.

Got my special free salmon burgers for a Unilocal check-in, and a gallon o’ New England Clam Chowdah! The burgers, well of course they tasted great, they were free! I got a pack of Feta/Spinach Salmon Burgers, and a pack of Salmon Teriyaki burgers. The burgers are puck-like and pretty solid with salmon. We cooked and then crumbled the feta/spinach burgers over a cold spinach salad. The burger had plenty of feta and some spinach and was juicy and seemed to have a little salt. Overall very good. I’ll have to report on the teriyaki salmon burgers with an update to my review. The Chowdah was fantastic. Creamy, with lots of clams, potato chunks and a delicious creamy base. A big steaming bowl with some fresh ground black pepper and it’s a meal! The smaller containers of their chowder come in plastic pop-top containers that are convenient to use one day and then you can put the leftovers in the fridge. But the gallon sized chowder comes in a big plastic bag. The bag is heavy duty, but once open, there’s no way to re-seal it. Unless you eat the whole bag, you’ve got to have some containers ready for storage or freezer. Overall Great! We’ll be back.

Love this shop, great selection of ready to heat options. The chowder of course is great, but we recently tried the meatballs in marinara and thought that was excellent too. Soups and chowder come in small single serve containers right up to gallon bags. I’ve seen an assortment of odd weight packages for sale by the register at very good prices. Don’t hesitate to try something new– we’ve been happy with everything so far! The retail area is pretty small, so you could pretty much stand in one spot and see all your options– but there really are a surprising amount of options. Well worth the trip.

I’m so happy that I found this place! Great selection of soups and sauces. Hands-down the best corn chowder I’ve ever had. Large quantities at a good price. I’m a vegetarian so I appreciate that their vegetable soups are made with a vegetable base. The ingredients are listed on the container. I can’t wait to go back and try more!

The hubby and I made our way over here on Sunday instead of dealing with the crowds at the hampton beach seafood festival. He got the lobster pie and went for the clam chowder. It was so good! Just want I want my chowder to be, lots of potatoes, clams and the right consistency. Not too thick, not too thin. Perfect. We also picked up a container of chicken tortilla soup which was amazing! Can’t wait to go back and try more soups. I feel like a kid in a candy store. Yum!

I found this place by seeing an ad on the internet while looking for something else. It was a Friday and what better day to have some Chowda? So a coworker and I decided to check it out. The clam chowda was to die for. It was creamy and on the thick side but not too thick(I prefer it this way as opposed to brothy). It wasn’t salty and was packed with clams and potatoes. Delicious! I bought a qt. for $ 7.99 which I think is a deal since at a restaurant you usually pay about $ 5 for a lil cup. My friend bought the lobster bisque and loved it. She also bought the frozen talipia cakes and had them later and raved about them. I bought the frozen shepherd’s pie but haven’t tried it yet. I definitely will go back to buy more of the soups/chowda’s and to try some of the other frozen pies they have(baked haddock, lobster, lobster newburg puff, etc.) Although I haven’t tired much, I think this is a great place to pick up frozen pastas, seafood and sauces to have for dinner. Can’t wait to go back and pick up more samplings to write about!

If you have lived your whole adult life in New England but now are stuck in the midwest, there are certain things in the summer time you are really going to miss– the beach, the east coast girls(like in the song) and of course, the food you get at the shore. The first one is not peripatetic, the last two can be exported. This is not a site for rating girls, so I will rate some food.(Thomas Jefferson wrote that All Men are created Equal; Ben Franklin suggested a «rating system» for the Ladies, but was voted down). This company makes some really good clam chowder and lobster bisque. Not quite the same as having a bowl of it in Ogunquit or Kennebunk, but at $ 5.98 for 20 oz. it’s quite a good deal and wonderful to have at the end of a hot, humid day.
