This is a mountain course with all kinds of elevation changes. Two holes run parallel to the Dan River. Probably played here 25 times or more. Green fees are cheap(about 25 on weekends). Hemlock is pretty easy — not sure of the yardage but most par 4s are driver and wedge and only one par 5 isn’t reachable in two. Watch out for the moccasins. Lots of water on this course and moccasins love water. Minus one star for the windmill on the eighth hole. A windmill? What’s next a concrete t rex? This ain’t putt putt. Get rid of it spend a little more money on the tee boxes. Took dad here one fathers day with bro in law and his dad. Four stars for the memories of that day alone. Cool course.
