Very yummy and pretty authentic Mexican food. The interior is very fun and inviting, the menu is a massive mural behind the counter. I ordered the quesadilla with pineapple. It was cheesy, melty, stretchy, salty and just the right amount of sweet from the pineapple. We also got guac, chips and salsa that were yummy. The range of tacos is also amazing. My friends got the shrimp and tofu tacos. The tequila tofu taco was so so good. Such an interesting take on spicing up tofu. Will definitely be back for a good meal! The key lime pie is also a great choice. Creamy, sweet and just the right amount of tart.

Good Mexican and craft beer make me very happy and this place has both! This place has an off beat vibe. After ordering we were able to easily find three seats at the counter which allowed us to see the food as they were making it. The counter was lined with different varieties of hot sauces which allowed us to try new things and mix and match as we enjoyed our food.

Tasty, inexpensive, and soulful food in a funky VT joint. The catfish and mac was delicious as was the chicken bowl. Would definitely return!

Delicious fresh food. I had the tequila tofu burrito. It was flavorful and very filing. My husband had the catfish taco app and loved it. The salsa and guacamole were fresh and seasoned well.

Top quality recipes and ingredients. Cool vibe. Looking forward to powering through the amazing menu. You might want to try the fried lobster knuckle taco.

So I didn’t love what I ordered(shrimp quesadillas) but I know enough to rate a restaurant on everything. They were super helpful and accommodating to our party of 9 on a busy Thursday evening, even offering us the choice of a couple different tables since we had a baby on board. The service was fast… you just order up front and everyone raved about their meals. The portions were huge and if in the area again would definitely head there for a quick meal with friends!

Food: if I were rating this place based only on the food, they would easily get 4 stars, but I’m not. Group of 4 and we started with the guac and chips and the fried poblano peppers. The guac was fine, but the peppers stole the show. Served with ranch. If you like peppers, get them. Entrees included pork enchilada, steak enchilada, chicken burrito and fish/shrimp tacos. I had the pork enchilada and it was awesome. Everyone else enjoyed their meal as well. I’d get the same thing next time. Service: all over the place, the older lady who was our waitress was very polite. She also made fun of my friend for not finishing his food which was priceless. The lady who takes the orders at the counter(and owns the place I think) was fine, but she was doing the job of 4 people it seemed. The guy who brought us our food basically just place the plates in the middle of the table and told us to sort out who ordered what. When we walked in, we had to wait for maybe 10⁄15 minutes and they wouldn’t let us get a drink while waiting. When we finally did get to order, my buddy ask for a margarita and they said they don’t serve them… at a Mexican restaurant. Atmosphere: small, busy, the cooking area is open to restaurant which I guess adds a little to the experience. Misc: as crazy as this may sound, the next time I’m in Ludlow, i would go back with no question. The food was great and it was really convenient to walk a few feet to dinner. Perfect meal after a day on the mountain.

Our party ordered all burritos, and that was an amazing decision! All the meat was fresh, and definitely were appropriately sized for the price we paid. Definitely a hole in the wall place that is to die for!

Just ok. Had shrimp taco, shrimp poboy and on chalkboard it did not mention the sausage in poboy(we don’t eat red meat). Chili relleno cold inside. Coleslaw not great. Cool deco inside though.

This place is about as good as it gets for modern mexi fusion mouth watering awesomeness! The sign alone should tell you to pull over and get yourself a carne asada enchilada or go for the fresh catfish tacos. Fuel up after the slopes here and you won’t regret it!

The food was great here, but the service was really confusing. We arrived and were told that there was a wait for our table. However, they did not tell us to order first before being seated. Tables were empty but we were still waiting to see where they would seat us. Out of convenience, we just ended up sitting at the bar. The food was good tho the burrito bowl was small. I had the tequila lime tofu bowl. I asked tbe cook for the best hot sauce and he handed me ghost trace which ended up really burning my mouth lol. I thought i could handle spicy food but this was reallyyyyyy spicy. In the future, we would probably only order take out from here. Pro: there were cool magnetic scrabble pieces to play with while we waited for our food!

This is probably one of the best restaurants in town. The music, dishes and décor are all eclectic and work. It is a combo of down home with their Johnny Cash tunes and souther PI boy sandwiches and new wave Mexican with spicy, cooked to perfection dishes. The pulled pork burrito with jalapeños in it was orgasmic! Definitely worth a stop when coming Okemo!

We have eaten here 5 or 6 time and have never been disappointed. The burrito, tacos and Po boys are our favorites. Don’t miss the guacamole, it’s fresh and flavorful. All fresh ingredients, watch the guys make your dish. Wine and beer are top quality. Love the atmosphere.

Excellent tex mex in Southern Vermont? Not possible you say– not true. Mojo Café is outstanding. The first thing that struck me was the atmosphere-Chalkboard menu, technics record player, friendly(married) staff. The kitchen is open– more like an exposed food truck– atypical VT. I ordered the chicken mole and blackened catfish tacos. Both had layers of flavor and texture that my mouth happily chewed and wanted more of. Mojo is definitely two parts food and one part Rock’n’Roll — the bar is made of music supply trunk cases, the walls are peppered with memorabilia, and we listened to Talking Heads, Cake, Radiohead while we ate. This is now a standard stop when we are up again from NJ.

The chicken po’ boy is outstanding and don’t miss the poblano rings. All of the ingredients are fresh and local except the shrimp he orders special. I’ve had 2 different Gumbos. I thought the Vegan Gumbo was good until I had the Jerk Chicken. The Andouille sausage over powered the chicken a bit, but the flavor was amazing. One of the owners is the chef and has an assistant and both pay attention to every details as they fresh prepare each meal. My wife had the chicken burrito which was big for the price, well spiced, and excellent. The customer service is great and you can always find the owners chatting with a customer about food or music or the topic of the day. Also, the rotating selection of craft beers that are hard to find like Lost Nation and Zero Gravity. Local VT microbrews. Enjoy!

So some places do worse with time. Fortunately some get even better. Mojo has found its mojo. We stopped by recently again and I’m in love with this place! Great vibe, cool décor, friendly service. And awesome food. Mexican and Cajun with whatever else they love. Had the gumbo. And I haven’t enjoyed a bowl of it so much since my days in New Orleans! And then an ahi tuna poke taco dish that was a perfect fusion dish. Throw in a few fresh jalapeños on it and loved this. With a little rice and seaweed salad too. Heaven. Dining companion got the shrimp and grits and could’ve licked the plate. They have kids options too. Overall just a great place in town. Hurrah!

I was visiting my husband in Ludlow and he took me and couple of other friends to this restaurant. The place is not very big and there were very few tables followed by seating at the bar but it definitely is cozy. You have to order at the bar and py and then they deliver the food on the table. They serve only beer or wine so I definitely missed the having mojitos with mexican dineer but, oh well! The very first time I noticed as soon as I walked in, which is unique and neat, was the huge collection of different sauces from different brands set around the bar area that are free to try and some of them I tried for the very first time and they were awesome. We got chips and salsa platter for appetizer and I ordered Tequila Tofu Tacos and believe me when I say that those were the only veggie Tacos I had that did not have Fajita veggies and left burst of flavors in my mouth. I devoured it and ordered another serving for to go. Loved their unique concept, fresh and yummy food, quick service and friendly staff. Only thing I recommend is expansion of sitting area which is especially during ski season.

Cool, hip, tattoo, snowboarder kind of vibe with great music… and that’s coming from an ‘older’ guy. They really put some thought into this place, it has an image and personality. Food is excellent, really can’t go wrong and I’ve more than once ordered until I nearly burst because I just wanted to keep trying things. Gumbo, Po Boys, Burritos, Tacos, whatever… just order! Ohh, and the review that said they would kick a baby for the Poblano Rings… I now understand. Also noteworthy, they care. I was always asked ‘how is it?’ and ‘what did you think?’ I hope they continue to have great success, a great addition to Ludlow.

Oh man. Not your traditional burrito but hit the spot and very good quality. Great spot for quick eats and good beer selection. We came with a group of six and everyone left raving about their meal. Most of us got burritos but someone got a PoBoy and said it was amazing. Wish we had a place like this where I live.

Really liked the Mojo Café. Decent prices, funky atmosphere, good food and nice people. They have a bunch of hot sauces to try with your food and they even make 1 or 2 of their own which were really pretty good too. I was only in the area for a couple of days and while I wouldn’t normally eat Mexican food twice in two days time, I did think about suggesting to my wife that we return again before we left town. Didn’t do it, but if I’m up in the area again I will definitely go back to Mojo Café.
