The food is great here they have a wide range of things to eat I would recommend this to everyone if you haven’t been here before. The service is excellent. So if you have never been here before you should come and try it.

So came here on a Mother’s Day and snail service commenced. The party I was with finally received our food and the hash browns were way over cooked also our food came out in pieces versus whole orders. Our waitress was very courteous and that counts for something. Too pricey for what it is.

The waitress we had was very kind and virtuous. The food was pretty average, but still good. We visited for breakfast, so I had blueberry pancakes and the blueberries tasted fresh. My husband had a country steak breakfast, and he enjoyed it too. We will return here.

Typical American chain diner. To me, it’s the same as Denny’s or IHOP. Friendly service but the food was mediocre and the coffee tasted weird.

Typical brunch fair. Went around 10am. There was a wait. The waitress wasn’t overly attentive. I asked for well done hashbrowns(specifically stated borderline burnt) and received pale white hashbrowns. Eggs were done at perfect temperature… But they sat around and became room temperature. I was starving, they were busy, so I ate it. The waitress kept our coffee mugs filled once we got coffee, so that was a plus. My crêpe was amazing. I loved the«fresh blueberry compote» versus a syrupy-artificial pie filling topping like IHOP uses.

Good food, glacial service, Went here for breakfast as I was up a little earlier than usual and didn’t have any breakfast items in the fridge — so I figure I would get a nice breakfast before heading to work. Waitress came right over and got me a menu and coffee and that is about when the wheels started to come off the bus. There were maybe 6 other people in the entire place and she got back to me in about 10 minutes to take the order — which I kept fairly simple with a western omelette. Said omelette made its appearance 20 minutes later. so it took a half hour to get something that you would get anywhere else in about 15 minutes tops. Long story short, I was almost late for work and had to rush through my breakfast once it was delivered. The rest of the patrons had the same look of «where is my food» and after looking at the other reviews on there, I can see it is an endemic problem here and not just a case of being in the south. The food was decent which is a shame because the whole experience was ruined by the sloooow kitchen — and it was definitely the kitchen as the waitress had nothing to deliver and there was no bell ringing for picking up orders. I would think twice about this place unless you have limitless time on your hands.

I stopped in for breakfast during the week, and they were not at all busy at 7 a.m. The pregnant waitress was nice and promptly brought me some coffee. I was alone and ordered a simple breakfast of eggs, sausage and toast. Thirty minutes later, I was still waiting although they weren’t busy. Management here is non-existent or in the back sleeping. The delay was making me late for a business meeting, so I left without eating — hungry. Needless to say, I was not a happy guy! I recommend that you avoid this place — go down the street about one mile to Cracker Barrel where they will bring your food on time.

Wow. Service is terrible. Hearing people all around sending back good, asking why their server hasn’t been back to their table in 30(!) minutes, etc. we had a simple order and have been here 35 minutes waiting for egg, hashbrowns, bacon and a biscuit. It can’t be that hard to make! Watching 4 servers standing behind counter doing nothing. Worse breakfast experience ever.

This little breakfast place offers friendly service. The price was right $ 6 – 8 for full breakfast. The food was only ok. Pancakes not good, raw, eggs and hashbrowns greasy. The bacon was thin. Coffee $ 2.15 each for a carafe. Overall it was average.

I try to avoid eating at chains if at all possible, but when dining with my 75 year old father my choices are limited. Waited more than 20 minutes for our food to come, and when it did one order was wrong and one order we were still waiting for(seriously, 35 minutes for a pre made chicken pot pie!). even with all our issues we were only given 20% off our bill… gee thanks. Sorry Bob, I gave you one more chance…

Ate here a few years back. Found multiple long gray hairs in my beef stroganoff. They gave me a free meal but left and never finished it.

I usually only go here for breakfast. In my humble opinion they have the best breakfast in Lynchburg. The sunrise skillet with an egg omelet filled with potatoes sausage and sausage gravy is outstanding. Today we went there for lunch and I had the turkey dinner. For 10.99 I had the turkey dinner with mashed potatoes stuffing cranberry sauce. I also had a salad, banana bread and dessert included in the price. The turkey was tender the mashed potatoes were real and the gravy was very good. The service was very good and the waitress was very friendly. All in all it was another good experience at Bob Evans. I was very satisfied with the portions and the quality of food.

This was my first Bob Evans experience and I will say the food was good but it is OVERPRICED. The price is the only negative that I could come up with. What I really enjoyed about my experience here was the individual coffee pot they sit on your table. The service was excellent. I got an omelet and it had good flavor. The home fries aren’t really the home fries I am accustomed to having. I like my home fries with some crunch and these did not have any. I don’t foresee me returning not because the food or service was bad. I just can’t justify paying $ 31 for two people having breakfast. This is a first where I enjoyed the experience and won’t return just can’t get over the price, sorry!

This is the second Bob Evans outlet I’ve been to and it is certainly just as good as the other. The service is efficient, friendly and yet low key. The food is generally American country-style, with all the church-supper specialties and it is perfectly prepared and presented. The décor is soothing and pleasant. The prices are quite modest considering the quality. I had an omelet which was superb. It’s not great dining, but it is well worth the drive if you’re not nearby. I was puzzled though by the green beans side dish– they were mixed with what appeared to be pieces of roast beef. Tasty, but strange..
