I was really freaked out to get a wax for the first time, but all of the reviews about Barb are true — she is THE BEST. It didn’t hurt like I thought it would and she is so nice and professional. I already made my next two appointments!

This is one stop shop for massage, nails, and even spray tanning. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg of the services they offer. One visit and you’ll feel like family too.

Some of the worst eyelash extensions I have ever experienced. The $ 75 «lash special» was absolutely horrible. It took her all of 30 minutes and they were not individually applied, making the end result clumpy and painful. Sloppy technique and way too much glue made it so I could hardly fall asleep. Very painful! I went elsewhere to have them safely removed as soon as I possibly could.
The worst part is the owner (who applied them) ironically was training another woman on how to do the same poorly executed work!!! Save yourself a trip and the $ 75 and have them done correctly for a little more money. I thought this «special» was too good to be true and I was right :(

Barb is the best!!! Seriously. You’re waisting your time and hard-​earned money going anywhere else. She gets to know you and is presto able and very sweet. She knows what she is doing and wants to help you. She is experienced and seriously the best. If you’re getting a brazilian, ask for her. You won’t regret it.

This place is amazing!!! I have been coming here for the last two years for a Brazilian wax and I have never had a bad appointment. Barb is incredible and I highly recommend that you request her! She always remembers you and she always makes me feel comfortable:) I learned the hard way… I went to someone else due to geographic reasons and it was a horrible experience compared to Barb! I can’t think of a better place to go

My favorite nail salon in all the world!!! Absolutely LOVE this place and they offer so much more than «just nails». I haven’t gotten anything done except nail services, eyebrow waxing, the amazing table massage, and once the eyelash tinting, but I’ve heard their massages and facials are amazing! The salon itself is always clean and I always see them sanitize the pedicure stations between clients and before. When it comes to the ladies working there, I cannot say enough good things. I’ve gone there for years, as have my family and friends, and we love every visit because it’s such a comfortable atmosphere and the ladies are so kind, it’s almost like seeing family!!! Their manicures are very reasonable and my favorite is the French polish, but they have every color imaginable to choose from. I usually do express manicures but the full spa mani is ahhhhmazing!!! The eyelash waxing I’ve had done by Barb and Kimmie and they are both experts! They do a great job! I also had eyelash tinting done by them and they explained it so thoroughly and I was impressed with the results! Lastly, I did treat myself to the table hydro massage and really enjoyed it! A nice treat for those who aren’t comfortable with full massages, though I’ve heard their massages by the therapists are awesome!
Definitely call Personal Touch and make an appt today! You’ll love it! Remember, a reasonable price for an incredibly clean and friendly spa — it doesn’t get any better!

Personal touch is wonderful! I have had waxing as well as full and express manicures and pedicures there by many of the employees. The shellac manicure is great and usually lasts three weeks for me. Always had a good experience! Many Lynchburg ladies have been to this salon for years. If you are looking for a great day spa look no further.

I got an eyebrow wax and a French bikini wax by a woman named Monica. I have never felt more uncomfortable in my life and will never go to this place again. She was rude and did not speak to me much at all. Also French bikini goes in further than a regular bikini and the wax I received was barely a regular bikini wax. I walked out of there wanting to cry. Sadly, this is the worst waxing experience of my life.

I have had my fair share of waxing experiences in large cities and this was by far the best experience, in a small town (who would have guessed). The price is great and the results are even better. I will be a repeat customer for sure!

THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO FOR WAXING!!! Barb does a fantastic job and I can honestly say that a brazilian wax no longer makes me cringe (a 5 out of 10 for pain). Two different types of wax are utilized and Barb’s professional attitude really makes it as pleasant as possible. She has clients that travel from out of town/​state for her services and it is very apparent why.
They also have Shellac by CND… weeks of beautiful color that dries enough in two minutes to dig your keys out of your purse.
Ladies, look no further… if you need a little pampering, this is the place to go :)
