If I could give 0 stars I would !! I called on Thursday to see if they were open for mothers day. They said yes so on mother’s day I gathered my family up & headed there. 1st off this place is in the middle of no where, it’s tiny. Consists of 4 tables. I walk in to be greeted by 4 small screaming children running around(not customers kids but the owners kids). Then this man who I’m assuming owned the place walks out from the back w/this woman & says that they are closed even tho the OPEN sign was lit up & the door was unlocked. I said«well we called a few days ago & they said you were open. He said that was management & they messed up. Well shouldn’t «management» know if you’re open on a holiday or not ?? So I said to him«but I just drove all the way here» he said sorry it was a misunderstanding. Not offering anything to compensate for wasting my time, gas, & ruining my mother’s day. STAYAWAY !!! This place wil be out of business REALQUICK !

Chef’s House is a small(approximately 30 seat) restaurant. The outside is not very notable and you may very well drive on by. If you were looking for an amazing dining experience that would be the wrong decision. The inside is warm and inviting. Linen, wine glasses and silverware are on the table. They do not currently have a liquor license so it is BYOB. The chef/owner was available, friendly and accomodating. He much appreciated the enthusiastic response of the diners to his food. Now on to the best part of the experience… the food. Earlier in the week, I got take out and sampled the chicken parm with homemade linguine, the chicken roman with homemade FUSILI and Chicken Scallopine with homemade parpadelle. The pasta was the best I’ve ever had. Chicken was tender and moist and so tasty. The lemon in the scallopine popped in your mouth. The food also traveled very well. So of course, after my wonderful experience, I had to eat in. The experience was so much better. The house special, veal shank, was to die for… tender, moist and so flavorful. It usually comes with polenta but I had the homemade fusili.(Did I mention how over the top delicious the fusili was). IThis is the kind of meal I expect and that I want to have when I eat out. I will be going back to the Chef’s House over and over again. Two tables were available when I arrived and it filled up… every diner was gushing over how delicious the food was. This chef is a rock star! People should be lining up to try his food.

Well worth the trip to an out-of-the-way spot. The exterior is modest, but inside it’s impeccably clean and hospitable. The food is fresh, delicious and very professionally prepared, showing Brazilian and Italian influences. The pesto, homemade pasta, and seafood were exceptional.

NOWCLOSED! My husband and I are recent joiners of the Groupon set and immediately jumped on a Groupon for a new restaurant in Lynn, MA. Last night, we enjoyed North End flavor on the North Shore at Chef’s House. The Chef’s House is a small(fewer than 10 tables) place with big service! The menu is definitely Italian, varied and reasonably priced. The food was excellent, portions generous, and the presentation impressive! Liquor license in the works!
