This place constantly lets me down and I’m sick of it. The only reason this place is one star is because I can’t pick a half star. The only reason I order from them is because they are close to my house and they deliver, so I can either walk or drive to get my food not because the food is anything special because it’s not. I should have driven the other night. Or just been smart and not ordered from them at all. For reasons I will not get into, I had to have food delivered to the house instead of driving down to get it myself. It had been a REALLY long day and I was extremely tired and ravenous. So we ordered. We ordered a salad and a sub, both cold items. I ordered it at 6:36pm.(They told me on the phone it would be 40 minutes. 40 minutes for two cold items to be delivered around the corner from their shop!) At 7:50, I called to find out what happened to the food. They told me that it would be going out on the next delivery. I then asked how long that was going take and he replied, after a moment of assessing my annoyance, that he would run it down to me now. He apologized insincerely a couple of times and used the excuse that they were really busy that night. So at 8:05pm,(15 minutes after I called to inquire) approximately an hour and a half after I ordered, the doorbell rings. Here is my order finally. Now as a consumer who has not been treated well, I expect some type of compensation. No. No coupons, no half off, no nothing. Just the same lame ass apology and excuse. For being approximately 50 minutes over their estimated arrival time is unacceptable to me. They should have called to let me know it was on its way or given a longer estimated delivery time(not that it should take that long for two cold items to be delivered around the corner.) And they DEFINITELY shouldn’t have charged me for the food. They’ve lost my business for good.
