I usually go there for order don katsue because it is perfect amount of katsu that not too much and not too little. That donkatsue is my prefer taste. One thing i wonder is i would love if they give more salad.

For some reason I really like this place. It’s in a food court, but their food is great, especially for the price. I had their pork katsu a few times, I never finish it all, and it’s under $ 8. Staff has been friendly as well. I usually come here before going to H Mart, naturally.

My husband and I come monthly to Hmart for Sunday lunch and groceries. We love this restaurant. Our favorites are the Bulgogie and Jae Jay. They are always friendly and fast. The food is fresh and a must if your in the area.

So far I have tried the tteokbokki with and without the ramen, the spicy cold buckwheat noodles, and the dolsot bibimbap. They are all wonderful and I cannot wait to try something different the next time I go! They have great service and are always nice! I look forward to going back soon!

«Impressive menu, but…» Good: Cold wheat noodle was just at the right temperature. Bad: Lack of proteins, for the price they are charging, they should lessen on the noodle and increase the proteins and don’t fully cook the egg, but do offer raw egg as an option. The Bibimbab was a disaster because it lacks of protein and I’m expecting slice of steaks, but what I saw was ground beef. I have zucchini instead of cucumber, and my eggs were both over cooked Suggestions: There is a reason why your restaurant is only getting a mediocre rating. It’s time to really deliver taste. I won’t come back here. I feel that I was cheated from the insufficient of proteins! Your food is a presentation of your culture, soul of your country, and an opportunity to make new allies.

The cashier and the manager are really rude. My boyfriend and I bought two soups there. We LOVE Korean food but the soups that we got were horrible. The broth was nothing but water. One of the soups that we received was nothing but hot water with bean sprouts. The other was hot water with noodles, paper thin sliced and almost non existent veggies, with clam shells. The clams had little to no meat. So we went up to them and let them know we were unsatisfied. The cashier just said he really didn’t care because it didn’t effect him in any way. So we asked to speak with his manager. The manager came out and my boyfriend let him know why we were dissatisfied with the food. He said it was our fault for picking it and everyone else liked it. Who could find hot water and bean sprouts tasty or noodles in hot water? He didn’t even offer to let us choose something else on the menu. So we asked for a refund and he said no. My boyfriend asked him if he even cared about customer service at all and the manager said no. We told them that we would write our experience of this place in a review and he still said he didn’t care. So we left and I am now writing this review. I’ve ordered from this place once before and their bibimbap wasn’t impressive either. It was mainly rice with BARELY any vegetables and no flavor. We decided to eat there because our main spot, the tofu house across from this one was closed. The food here really is not good. Rude cashier and manager, and really bad Customer service. They even started talking crap about us which made my boyfriend really upset. i went and ordered food at a different restaurant and sat down at a table when the cooks came out and the cashier started pointing at us and looking at us with hostile expressions while talking to the cooks and it got my boyfriend really angry.

Good service! The gentleman that work there is very polite and helpful. He introduce the food very well. I love their ramen with rice cake. It is spicy but delicious. I know they are famous for don katsu, which is korean porkchop. Its pretty good! My boyfriend loves it. I usually would order their bulgogi and spicy pork to-go cox you can easily reheat it at home for dinner or something. And as for giving tips for themselves? Ive been there many times and they never done it. I usually give them cash or signed it. Its just few bucks. Take it as giving someone a blessing!

BEWAREOFEXTRACHARGESINCURREDONYOURCARD. I paid with card and only received a customer copy, nothing to sign or to add tip. I didn’t think much of it until the charge came through on my bank statement. I noticed the cost for the food was $ 2 higher. I called to find out that the owner had given himself a $ 2 tip. That is a really unethical practice by a business. They apologized to me and wanted me to come get the $ 2 back. Really? It’s not about the refund, it’s about an absolute shady practice. If you do eat here, make sure you get to sign the receipt and cross out the tip line if you aren’t going to give any. Otherwise, mister greedy hound will give himself a nice slice of your pie.

Not too bad for food being served as part of a food court in a strip mall. I ordered the cool spicy noodles. They weren’t quite as good as the cool noodles I got over in Seoul, but they satisfied my craving on a hot day. The portion was plenty for one person and really large enough to share between two people(depending on how hungry you are). The noodles were perfect in texture and taste. The condiments that go on top were fresh and added a great balance to the dish. The sauce itself was okay; it wasn’t as complex in flavor as some other places I’ve been to, but again, for a food court stall, not too shabby. Overall, I definitely would come here again when in the mood for some quick cheap Korean food.

I really love this place. I come down to H-Mart every couple months to stock up on my Korean groceries and my husband and I always stop here for lunch after. Their food is always fresh and their prices are very affordable. Their bulgogi is delicious, perfect steamed rice, and lots of ban chan to go with it, soup, salad, kimchi, and either cucumber or radish kimchi. Their japchae is also good, as are their goon mandu. I want to try their other dishes but we always end up getting the same thing!

My mom got the donkatsu(deep fried pork cutlet) and it was pretty tasty. It wasn’t the best I’ve had for sure, but it did the job and the price was pretty nice. It was a thinner cut than I wanted, but that’s understandable as the food needs to come out fast in a food court.

Not bad for food court food. Their prices are fairly reasonable, cheaper than BCD tofu house. We wanted the bimbimbap and it was about $ 14-$ 15 for it at BCD. It was about $ 10 at Hometown. Anyways, our food came out pretty fast where we didn’t have to wait too long. The bimbimbap came with a small salad and some pickled side dishes that were pretty good(radish was super yummy and garlic-y). The soup was definitely very tasty too. We really enjoyed eating the bimbimbap because it had a lot of vegetables along with a perfectly fried egg on top. This dish was so worth the money. We also ordered the seafood pancake that was about $ 8. I didn’t think it tasted that good. You probably could find a comparable seafood pancake for less than $ 4 at Trader Joe’s. Their seafood pancake flavors didn’t really stand out. I’d say pass on ordering this dish.

I really enjoyed my meal here. The place was clean and inviting though it was a little lacking on décor. The wait staff were friendly and the food came quickly. My wife was a little weirded out by the whole little fish the placed in front of her. Not worry, it was traditional and tasty. I would eat here again without question.

It’s the only place I like to eat in H Mart food court. They’re not as good as BCD tofu across the room. but considering how cheap they are compare to other korean eatery… they are still pretty darn good! :) I love their Tteokbokki with noodle and the spicy cold noodle. Always friendly service! Highly recommended!

This place mostly serves kimchi jigae, donkatsu, nangmyeon, and bibimbap. It has other things to, but mostly I would keep to those 4 dishes. The other places around the food court have other options if you need them. Every time I come here I get a mixed bag. The kimchi jigae ie either OK, or bland, sometimes missing pork al together, or missing flavor because its been boiled too long. Other days its right on and perfect. The bibimbap is hard to mess up and its good here, but i woldnt say its the best I’ve had. The vegetables could be more fresh in my opinion, but its still good. The dongkatsu is super large and has little flavor. It requires some sort of side sauce which is provided by the restaurant. Overall: Its a food court, what do you expect?

We hit this spot pretty much every time we go to H Mart. Had the rice cakes with fishcake. yum Squid on rice — spicy! but tasty Dolsot Bibimbap — have had this countless times — and always tasty. self serve tea/water included side dishes included… not as many varieties as the tofu place across the food court. this is really the one down side to this shop. Otherwise, tasty food and can’t ask for more for a food court joint.
