I think the only reason I gave this one star was our waitress was kind. So that is a gift. Our food was cold. There were 10 of us celebrating a birthday. I brought in a banana cream pie and asked them to refrigerate it, it was served lopsided, ok that can happen, but everyone’s food cold? Then my son noticed a chip off the rim of his class, after he drank his ice tea. Not tiny one, not a big one, but a chip none the less, he does not drink with a straw, he probably swallowed that piece of glass. The manager on duty said she would contact the general manager and fill out an incident report, No one has called us and it’s almost been a week, we will not be going back

I have been going to the rock weekly for a while and off and on for several years. Pros: the pizza, the happy hour, the big salad, the buckets Cons: they just got rid of their best pizza bat out of hell We used to get the bat out of hell with no chicken. An awesome and unusual pizza that has caused to have people come with us to get one. It was really what made them stand out, now their pizzas are pretty standard fare. We will still go sometimes by our weekly trip will stop. BRING BAck Bat out of Hell!!!

What can i say? Good food awesome service and sweet music. Ashley kept my beer full and took our order quick. Our food was awesome and arrived hot and delicious. We had a party of ten and ashley kept us all feeling taken care of ! Awesome experience! My favorite rock location so far.

Love coming in here! The atmosphere of old time rock is really unique! Our servers are always wonderful and cant get away from the cheesy bread. Come in if you enjoy pizza and rocking out to classic rock!

We show up and nobody is waiting in the lobby and countless tables are open and they say it will be 10 – 15 minutes? Why? The food is decent but the service at the Lynnwood location needs some attention. We have had the same lack of service twice now so that’s the reason for the post. Good luck

My family came into the Rock after an unseasonable summer wind storm in August that left us without power for a few days looking for a hot meal. It was some sort of Seahawks game day. We were seated after 15 minutes, then waited another 45 for our food. Our waitress spent most of her time in the bar area(maybe watching the game?) When our food came, everything on my plate was cold. Not even slightly warm. I’m very sure it was just a really crappy waitress, but what a total waste of time. I didn’t eat it, or take it home. We opted for fast food in a drive thru instead. I’ll probably be back, but this place just dropped way down on my list of options.

Pizza is good but the service is absolutely terrible. The booze selection is sub par and the hosts/hostesses all seem like they are having a terrible day… every time we go. Kids dig the smiley face french fries and the atmosphere but as an adult looking for good pizza, skip it.

Hands down the worst pizza /burger I have ever had in my life. Service was good, the kitchen staff on the other hand needs to find a new calling in life.

We have been coming here and always grabbing the same pizza. Great service and friendly staff. Tonight we had an issue with a Togo order and the manager went above and beyond to turn things around and I went from unhappy to happy. After 10 years managing restaurants, it’s always great to know there are still great managers out there that value the going above and beyond attitude to their customers.

I been to several The Rock locations and this location has to be the biggest let down. Service: No matter how small or big of a group I came with, we were seated promptly. They have specials every day/week, especially in the bar but most of the time the waiter/waitress does not mention them(huge disadvantage to themselves if you ask me). Food: This is where they lost points. Always takes them 40+ minutes for appetizer. I been to enough Rock locations to know what I should be tasting, but it does not happen here. All in all, the ambience and service is what I come here for. But I wish the food is comparable to the other locations.

Too dark to read the menus, when servers have a difficult time reading as much as you do… One would think the lighting would change.

Sooo first time here… suprise bday party, held in banquet room. First impression — Designer had great ideas. Love the theme, colors, and ambiance. Staff –Very friendly. Our server was fab considering size of our party, kids included, seperate checks, kept on top of drinks, apps in/out, and dinner service. Food — oh HEAVENS the FOOD. My Generation pizza blrw my taste buds away. White pepper sauce pizza, chicken, red onions which the wood fire oven turned them sweet! Crust is om thin side, but its fluffy and crisp. Delicious in my book. :) Burgers, steak, and pasta is making me come back. Salads are on small side, but tasty. Drinks– the Buckets!!! Many choices for all tastes come in fun buckets w a shovel. Drink and bring to your kiddos. Looking forward to visiting the Rock… very soon!

Decided to check out The Rock based on a Unilocal recommendation, and was kinda let down. It was a Saturday night and the place was packed. I can understand why, the atmosphere was exciting because of a Seahawks game and a lot of folks being out of power due to the storm earlier in the day. I came in to dine alone since I was on a business trip. I wasn’t able to find a seat in the bar, and the hostess staff seemed too busy to be concerned with a person that would take up a four top for single dining. Made me feel unimportant. They said«just look in the bar». I should have taken this as a cue not to come back. But instead I drove around for an hour and returned closer to 9pm. I looked around the bar again, but no luck. I didn’t want to take up a four top in the bar because… well, it’d be inconsiderate. So I went back to the host stand and noticed four staff members just chatting while I stood at the stand. I was finally asked«How many?» And I replied«one». She looked at her host map of the restaurant and said«it’s going to be thirty minutes.» I said«that’s fine». I’m starving at this point. One hostess(who looked like the only one doing actual hostess work) hurried over after this host walked back to group chatting and folding linen. She seemed to be the organized one, moving thru the list. She went thru a long list of names of guests that were probably over-quoted wait times and had left. And finally got to me. I was seated within 5 minutes. Glanced around the restaurant and saw a ton of open and clean tables. I thought to myself, what a shame that they would quote 30 minutes with out even looking thru the restaurant to check for open tables. They had told three parties it was 30 minute wait, and they had all walked in after me. Two actually left. I imagined the lost revenue and shook my head in disappointment as a former restaurant manager. The server got to my table after three minutes and asked what I wanted to drink, I ordered a beer. Maybe would have ordered something more expensive if I had been shown where the beer list and drink menu was(it was on a table tent hidden behind the ketchup). A suggestion on what was popular might have even been nice. So instead I ordered blindly. I also ordered my app and entrée because I was starving. Five minutes later my beer arrived from my inattentive server(she was very nice but too busy to pay attention to me). Twenty minutes later my Mozz Bread arrived. This was melted cheese on a lightly cooked pizza crust. It was delicious. The marinara served with it was pretty bland. Nothing to write home about. They also served it with ranch. Gross. To each their own I suppose. My pizza arrived 43 minutes after being seated. It was slopped on a plate. The cheese came slithering off one side of the plate where it almost fell off on the trip to my table. It was not crazy hot, I can only assume it had sat in the expo window for awhile. It was still very tasty. I enjoyed the pizza. I gobbled down the whole small to myself. I was glad I was patient and didn’t eat all the Mozz bread. My server finally wandered over to check on me and I asked to order the ice cream sundae dessert. This was brought to me by a different server 10 minutes later. What a disappointment this was. It looked huge when he brought it out. But it was a disguise for laziness. A half a scoop of vanilla ice cream with a tiny bit of caramel covered in 4 inches of whipped cream with a drizzle of chocolate. I had to dig thru the mountain of whipped cream to find the tiny scoop of ice cream. Literally a bite. It looked like I didn’t eat at all. Imagine a bowl full of whipped cream disguised as a sundae! What a bummer. I was too tired to complain, and wasn’t in the mood. I’m bummed because I wanted to love this place. The pizza was definitely delicious. The Mozz bread was great. Everything else just left me super disappointed I didn’t go elsewhere.

Wow. This was bad. Our first and last visit for sure. Let’s just cut the cute stuff and run down the list: Chips and queso: runny with a latex surface. I didn’t know if I should eat it or spread it on my face to make a Halloween mask. Literally no flavor and the chips had that oh-so-stale crunch, telling me these chips were opened and prepared just for me and my family. Three months ago. Caesar salad: the dressing was awful. Pretty sure it was Kraft. Wilted lettuce. I’ve never had a salad that needed anti-depressants. French Onion soup: please re-name this«Salt Onion Goop». The sodium level would make a salt lick jealous and the consistency was of syrup. Salad with sun dried tomato basil: thicker than a Russian accent, this stuff hugged my spoon like a koala attached to a Velcro tree. And finally, the«gotta try it» wood fire pizza: this pie had more grease than a John Travolta lookalike contest. And again, the sodium, my lord the sodium! If the salt flats of Utah ever run low, just order a couple of these bad boys. Voila, replenished!

Was in at The Rock in Lynnwood a few weeks back, got a Bucket(how can you not?), realized it was happy hour, and between the four of us, we demolished all of the happy hour appetizers. i don’t know how many appetizers it was, but it was a lot. The waitress asked us what we’d like to eat, and my friend goes, «Well, we’d like all of the happy hour appetizers.» And that sealed the deal. The food kept on coming. Good thing we were all pretty hungry, would’ve been a lot of food otherwise, but it was good. The Bucket was really good. I could’ve easily had another. And then been knocked flat on my face. That’s a lot of rum. Fo serious. Best part? With four buckets, and all the appetizers, split between the four of us it was about $ 25 each. Not bad, The Rock, not bad at all!

I feel bad for our server, Larry. It seemed like he was the ONLY one serving the entire bar area on a Friday night(He wasn’t). it took 45 minutes to get my food and 15 minutes between my empty beer to the next one. Some how our moz bread came out after our pizza did. Whaaaat? Bottom line… The food was what we expected, the service was the worst I’ve ever received there. I’m sure it wasn’t his fault. It seemed like the entire three times we saw him he was in an incredible rush. The Rock, please help out Larry by giving him more coverage. Oh, and the buckets were stupid sweet.

I love pizza, seriously, if my husband let me I would eat it every day! My husband loves steak, if I let Him, my husband would eat it every day! So imagine now a place where I can eat pizza and he can eat steak! My husband says the steak is better than Black Angus, being tender and flavorful. He especially likes the caramelized onions. Me — I am all about be pizza. The crust is the prefect vehicle for toppings. I like making my own combinations so I can’t speak about the flavors they have on the menu. Speaking of toppings the rock went about and beyond in indulging my Midwestern roots and put green olives on my pizza. Which speaks to the customer service. We have had nothing but wonderful customer service, waitresses that were attentive, but not overly so. This has become our go to pizza spot in the north end. Now if they would just add a Minnesota veggie pizza, with onions, mushrooms, green peppers, black and green olives I’d be set for life!

Went with a party of 4 on Sunday for dinner(around 7?). We sat at the bar area and it was relatively pretty busy. Ordered the onion rings(nice and crispy!), the mozz bread(soooo good! It’s the same they use for their pizza). Each of us ordered the bucket(original?). It tasted really good, you could definitely feel the alcohol. The two friends ordered a pizza each. We ordered the hot spicy wings and the Le grange(the pasta dish with fish and sausage?). Both surprisingly were spicy and tasted really good! The food arrived really fast. There was a mixed up for the pizza, however the waiter displayed amazing customer service. He didn’t charge our friend for neither of the pizzas!(We left an extra nice tip :)) Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because we also ordered the melon rock island bucket and the grape rock island bucket… both were super watered down. You couldn’t taste any alcohol at all, pretty much tasted like water and the respective flavors. There is parking right by the restaurant, easy to find since it’s right off the road. If you are in the alder wood mall area I would recommend trying this place. The interior décor is nice and the service was amazing! Would be even better if we could have down during happy hour! Also I heard the fries were really good there! Unfortunately they were all out when we went :(

The Rock is generally pretty consistent with me taste wise, but the portion sizes are getting ridiculous. I posted the picture of the pathetic amount of fries that we got. Our server in the bar gave us more without problem, but we shouldn’t have to ask. The owners do not need to be so stingy with a product that costs mere pennies to make! Still will be back, but will probably stick to the pizza.
