Hamburgers are delicious like everyone says. Bleu cheese just right and the olive burger good. No more to say but all the locals were there of all ages. The real stamp of approval.

Little gem. Not good for large groups because it’s very small. But for a group of two, it’s great. Very quick service, and very reasonably priced for the island. Good food. Great want you want to eat in a pinch and get back to island activities.

Best burger ever. Comes with a toasted pretzel bun. Friendly service. Try it out if you visit the island!

We sat in the way back, ordered and within a couple of minutes our burgers were ready to go and on the table. When you have young kiddos fast service is like this it makes all the difference. The pretzel bun was a hit too.

This place was so good! My husband and I came in for breakfast. The place has a fun atmosphere and we had wonderful service from our waitress. The breakfast was simple diner type food. It was delicious and was just what we wanted. Eggs, toast, coffee, OJ and other breakfast staples. I would recommend this place. Also, I would like to try lunch here sometime for sure.

Awesome breakfast and comfortable. friendly atmosphere! Prices are reasonable and portions are just right. Thanks and definitely will be back the next time we are on the island!

Great place to eat! Food was amazing. Service was fantastic. Prices were as expected on the island. The restaurant itself is very small. Great atmosphere though.

Reasonably priced, quick, and delicious! Two of us split the rattlesnake burger and granny’s grilled cheese for a great lunch on Mackinac’s main street. It’s a great quick escape from the busy tourist strip. It is small-​scale with mostly two person high tops and a counter. They serve breakfast til 11 too; wish we could’ve caught that!

We got the southwest turkey sandwich. It tasted like lunch meat with sliced cheese on greasy bread. Maybe we got the wrong dish, but it was pretty bad. Nice service though.

Favorite place on the island. The owners are such great people. Try the olive burger. I stop in for one every time I am on the island.

Cheap, fast, and friendly; the 3 things I, and probably most people, look for when choosing a restaurant.
My boyfriend and I have been on the island for 3 days, and each morning we have eaten here. The service is SO quick, and you get a lot of food for what you pay for. This will probably be the cheapest meal you get on Mackinack Island lol! I recommend the $ 11.99 steak and eggs, and the three egg omelet:)

This is one of my favorite restaurants of all time. I like to think I have experienced good food on my foodie adventures all over, mostly Chicago, and I have this place high on my list.
The food is simple, pure and delicious. The Rattlesnake burger is literally to die for. Get the fries and coleslaw. Their breakfast sandwich is amazing too, with a side of extra crispy hash browns.
The service is fast, friendly and on point.
I went there 3 out of 4 days on the island. Shall I say more?

Amazing burger! But stick to the staples, a burger or a cheese burger, do not veer away from this. They do not have time to put extra effort into sautéing mushrooms or onions, or making a specialty burger. You order and your food comes in about 6 minutes, which I am not saying is a bad thing, it just tells you that time doesn’t go into the extra items. The mushroom and swiss burger came and the mushrooms weren’t cooked, nor were the onions.
If I could base my review off of JUST their cheeseburger it would be 5+++, but I do have to take into consideration the other menu items.
Also, if you go here for breakfast stick with eggs, toast, and bacon. I ordered the pancakes which tasted like they were topped with onions (they cook everything on a very small grill, so those pancakes are cooking in the same spot onions were just cooking on) and sausage which he pulled from the fridge after my pancakes were finished and threw on the grill for maybe three minutes, obviously they were cold. For breakfast they keep hash browns and bacon on the grill at all times so I would assume they are warm when you get them.
Bottom line, stick to what they do best… a plain burger or cheeseburger, no need to get fancy here.
There is also a $.50 charge for using a card here, which is actually illegal if it is a debit card and if the charge is over $ 5, but apparently no one has bothered to address this. I only know this because I used to have this same policy at my restaurant until we were reported and discovered it was not allowed.

Good food! Great service and ambiance — can a western theme dive have ambiance? Knocked one star off because the missus’ patty melt had too many grilled onions. Definitely would come back and recommend this place to others.

Tiny no frills diner with simple good food. Expect a wait during peak times.
We came in right around lunchtime and luckily got a seat at the counter fairly quickly. We did see the big table in the back was reserved for local workers so that might contribute to the wait. It’s a very popular spot for locals.
Waitress was speedy and efficient but still friendly. We were seated right behind the cooks so spent the time waiting for our meal watching them work through the orders. The two cooks were like a well-​oiled machine so that was fun to watch. Quarters can be a little cramped especially behind the counter but made for talking to strangers easier. We chatted it up with the lady sitting next to us.
The burger was delish and is served on a pretzel bun yum! I got the BLT which I thoroughly enjoyed. Bacon was just the right amount of crispy and not greasy. Sandwich wasn’t overloaded with mayo and the toast was the perfect amount of toasted. I was a happy camper.
We were in and out of there in a jiffy just in time to make our ferry and left very satisfied! Knocking a star off for the cramped space and ever-​present line but we would definitely come back here.

My wife and I stopped by for lunch. It’s a tiny place, but service and food were very food if you don’t mind a little greasy food.
I ordered the ¹⁄₃ pound Rodeo burger and my wife ordered a cheeseburger. Both were served on a pretzel bun and amazing. Probably one of the best burgers I’ve had. Fries were hot and fresh.
Highly recommended!

Good burgers! Got the rattlesnake for take-​out and it was spicy and flavorful. My only complaint is that they didn’t ask my how I like my meat done. Other than that, the burger still tasted good. A side of fries cost an additional $ 2 but it was worth it since they were hot and crispy. Tho the restaurant was packed, we didn’t have to wait more than 15 mins for our food.

Omg, it amazes me, cannot believe so great food in a tour place. Very nice blue burger and steak sandwich.
