I wasn’t certain what kind of place this, so when I seen the open sign flashing the other night, I pulled in to check it out. As I approached the doors I noted that they closed at 8pm, it was now well past 830pm. The lady inside noticed me, and eagerly waved at me to come in. I walked through the doors and said, its ok, ill be back tomorrow… but she was welcoming and told me with a smile that I could stay. Bonus points for great customer service right there. So, the long mysterious wait was solved – its a Middle Eastern/Mediterranean market. First impression, its big and very clean, but its only been open less than a month, so I would expect it to be very clean. The fruits ad veggies looked of good quality, all bright and unblemished. There prices were very defend, even lower than most place right now. And even though I only purchased a few apples and cucumbers, they were very good. They had a olive bar with many pickled items and varieties of olives to chose from, and they were only $ 3.99 a pound – great price compared to any place out there. They had a hearth oven where they kick out fresh made pita bread all day long, and at only $ 1 for SIX of them, how can you not go wrong with that?! They meat and deli counters were not filled, as of the time I went in, but she assured me that they would be filled soon, curious to go back and see what they will have. The shelves were fill, all the way to nearly the ceiling with anything and every kind of ethnic dry good you could want or need. And again, very clean, organized and well maintained. They do accept credit cards, but on purchases over $ 8(if memory is severing me correctly…) I look forward to checking them out again, especially when the deli counters are filled.
