Shame on the people working here, especially the patient relations department. I went into the clinic to get some diagnosis. To diagnose the problem they suggested biopsies, which i wasn’t really in the favor of initially. But the doctor forced me to get one to diagnose the issue. Once done, got a bill of $ 1800 after insurance which they could have told me in advance. Then after sharing my unhappiness, the doctor had the nerve to say to me «This didn’t work, we can try something else». After charging me so much and forcing me to get procedure done, still trying to experiment. What kind of money making scheme are they running i don’t get it. Never go here, they are cheaters and rude. They are purely there for making money. So is their patients relation department, saying they don’t care about what happened in my case and want the full money.

Getting sick is not good on a business trip, especially if it is bad enough that you need to see a doctor. After getting advice to go to an ER, I googled to see what the options were. Thankfully, I discovered Dean Health System’s website. They had a nurse on-call that helped me determine what I needed to do if I wasn’t able to come in, but also directed me to the closest location that opened at 6:45AM. I bit the bullet and called a co-worker to see if he could take me before he left for class. We got there and I was seen very quickly. The nurse and doctor I saw were very friendly and understanding of my need to be able to travel the next day. For once I was a good patient(friends will attest that I will push myself instead of taking it easy) because there was no wiggle-room on the traveling time table. Their care and advice got me back to LA with no major issues. Thank you very much to Joe who stayed with me and took me to the drugstore before heading to class. And thanks also to Steve and Gary for checking in and watching out for me.
