This winery has it all… great wines, food, and views! You will be very impressed when you walk through the doors and see the amazing level of detail that was put into this place! It was a busy Saturday night, but we chose to sit on the patio(it was a warm December night) where we could listen to the live acoustic musician that was there that night. We tried a sample of wines and I loved the Laurel Blanc and one of the Riesling wines. The food was great as well! We had the mixed board of meats/cheeses, the sausage flatboat, and finished with the chocolate tray… everything was amazing! Whether you’re here with a group of friends or a date night, you will enjoy yourselves! We will definitely be back to this winery soon!

Took the ride out to Madison for a Saturday afternoon of wine, cheese and fun. Came here on a recommendation from a friend. We were not disappointed. I am a sweet wine fan but my wife as well as others in our group preferred dryer wines. This was the place for them. Their sweetest wine was even to dry for me, but when in Rome! They don’t do flights which I found strange but I found solice in a nice Riesling so I bought a bottle to share with the table. Limited menu, I might even say a Tapas menu but we weren’t here to strap a feed bag on. Grounds appear to be beautiful but they were snow covered that day. Beautiful 360° fireplace greets you at the door. Decorated nicely. Barn beams and stone add to its rustic charm. A three piece band softly whispered all the lounge music hits from every crooner you could name. We ordered a mixed board and a sausage flat bread. They were wonderful. Everyone loved the wine and options are a plenty. Prices are moderate and a bottle will run you in the neighborhood of $ 18 which is completely worth it. It was a great experience and we will be back again. Why no 5th star? I would have really loved a flight option. Enjoy!

What a lovely place! And right in my hometown. When I went to Laurentian, I felt like I was in a fancy winery in California! The ambiance is just wonderful from the landscaping, gorgeous outside patio to the wine tasting room. Unfortunately we were unable to try the food as the kitchen had closed early that evening but we will definitely be back!

This place is absolutely beautiful! Regrettably, the wines aren’t all that great. The selection of white wines that I tried were a little disappointing. However I’m sure it’s a work in progress. I look forward to trying this place again next year to see how they’ve progressed.

Ohio wines had not been high on our list. I tend to like German whites; my wife is practically a sommelier when it comes to good dry wines, whether red or white. Two years ago we were in Napa with friends and had a great time. We discovered Laurentia just this past September while on a stay-cation. We’ve been back at least half a dozen times since, bringing friends or family, and I plan on taking my son there tomorrow. It rivals anyplace I saw in California, both for ambiance and quality of wine, food, and service. Most important to me was discovering a place where civilization has not been slaughtered by the PC crowd. My friends and I are able to enjoy a good cigar along with our wines out on the far patio. I was particularly pleased with the Riesling. What I learned at Laurentia was that Northeast Ohio’s climate, humidity, and soil are perfect for making white wines, not so much for reds. We’ve had the cheese plate, the sausage plate, and the chocolate plate. The last one will get you into trouble!

My husband and I started serious wine tasting in Napa and after moving away from the area have constantly searched for a winery that would match the quality of a place out there. For Ohio, this is it. All of the wines were excellent quality and the food was excellent as well. Probably one of the nicest places to taste too. We will definitely be back.

Great addition, to other existing local wineries. Winery and grounds are tastefully done. Food and wine offerings pair well. Looking forward to go back soon!
