Popped in for lunch while shopping in Madison today. So many choices on the menu, I change my mind 3 times before ordering. Ultimately my Fox Hunt was absolutely delicious and my mother loved the quiche special. Great friendly staff. And a really cute dining area. I hope to be in Madison again soon, I’d certainly return for another lunch!

On a roll is a great healthy option for those looking for a light lunch! I ordered the club chicken BLT on a wrap and it was excellent! The wrap came with a bag of chips. The ingredient I liked most about the wrap was the balsamic vinaigrette, it complemented the taste of chicken nicely. The service was fast/​polite, atmosphere tasteful, and nice.

I eat lunch here very frequently because of the convenient location. Healthy and unique options. Comfortable place to sit. Staff is very nice and helpful. Prices are reasonable for the area. Nice place to have an easy, quiet and quick lunch.

For a sandwich shop/​deli this place is top notch. Everything I’ve ever had here is delicious. I like the atmosphere as well, and the service is very nice. A little more expensive than other joints, but well worth it imo. Superb soup.

This is my 4th time here and it’s absolutely delicious. The owner is super sweet and everything is homemade. The quality and freshness is incredible. They always pair the perfect things together to create unique recipes. Pricing is extremely reasonable! Definitely recommend!

We came in for a quick bite after walking patriots path and didn’t realize the place was closing. The staff didn’t rush us or make us feel as though we were an inconvenience. The food was great. I ordered the coconut chicken and grape salad and my husband had a turkey and bacon sandwich. Both were very good but I would choose the salad over the sandwich.

I’ve always been a big fan of On A Roll, and they have recently made some epic changes. The décor is totally different (floors, tables, lighting, etc.) and it just looks amazing. The plattering of the food doesn’t match the attention to detail in the décor, but that’s okay because the food is still delicious.
The sandwiches are still the big draw, but I’ve been branching out: I had a rosemary chicken pot pie and it blew my mind. Asked for a little scoop of their coconut-​chicken and grape salad (it came highly recommended from a friend) and the friendly staff gave me the scoop for free! And it was delicious!

I wandered into this place when I was on my way to get my car serviced and knew I better grab a bite to eat before playing the waiting game. I didn’t know what to expect but I was very pleasantly surprised! The atmosphere was lovely (regretfully I had to take out), the service was wonderful, and the menu was even better! The soups were plentiful and my mushroom soup was absolutely delicious with my goat cheese and chicken salad. This was gourmet level take out and the price wasn’t bad at all. I got a soup and salad along with a drink for a little over $ 12. The service was also very quick and accommodating. The man at the counter was friendly and helpful with providing details about the menu. Parking was a available even though it’s on main road. I would definitely recommend a visit to this charming café. Enjoy!

Slow, disappointing and overpriced.
Ordered a sandwich to go, it was $ 8 and wasn’t worth 8 pennies. Served on a soggy roll, small portion of meat and they didn’t give me a pickle or bag of chips.

Always very friendly service and great food to match. They have a fantastic shrimp and corn chowder also and I have heard from others that their other soups are just as good. The black forest croissant is addictive too! Their hours aren’t all that long, so they’re more of a lunch place or caterer.
Now I have moved away since beginning to write this review, but I am sure that they are just as good as they were. I had come here for years on lunch breaks, and they were always consistent and delicious.
