Trust me, originally I didn’t want to come here. After being a long time customer of College Barbers(now closed), it didn’t seem right. The set up is pretty much the same, old wallpaper on the walls, barbers that know their stuff, no frills or fuss. The only difference is that you can call ahead at Stadium to reserve a spot. I finally was able to overcome my sense of loss and have been stopping in ever since I moved into the neighborhood and I am glad I did. As mentioned before, they take walk ins or you can call ahead. Everyone that I have met has been extremely friendly and welcoming. They stay«true to the game». What won’t you find here? A barista pulling an espresso for you or a stylist with a man bun. And as someone who has had the same basic hairstyle for that last 30+ years, I am ok with that.

Wonderful Barber Shop! They are very quick and there is always a barber open for walk ins. Barbers are friendly and give excellent haircuts! There is no bike parking outside but you can lock your bike next door outside of hotel red.

Judging by the reviews i read on here, i thought this would be a safe bet and cheap, but I paid $ 17 for a crappy 15 minute haircut. Trisha cut my hair — i showed her pictures in addition to telling her what i wanted, but i literally have lines on the side of my head from a poor fade. I told her not to take anything off the top, but she still did. If it were cheaper i wouldn’t be upset with the quality, but $ 17 deserves a better haircut. They were perfectly friendly and it was clean, but i won’t be coming back.

Best barber in Madison. These guys know how to cut hair. Ever since College Barbershop closed I’ve been searching for a good barber. Stadium Barber is it! The barbers are polite, a great conversation and know how to cut hair. It’s definitely worth the walk for students living on the East side of campus.

Fuck yeah this place is great. Very old school. Great conversation. I like all the guys but Tim’s my favorite. While they don’t do shaves, whenever I feel like getting rid of an unruly beard off they’ll take clippers to it for no extra charge. They love to talk sports. They are closed on gameday but that is probably just as well since parking would be a nightmare anyways Every time I walk out of there I feel manlier than Ronald Reagan whittling on a horse

Solid place to go for a fairly priced and quick haircut. The barbers are great to talk to, especially if you like sports. Don’t come here on game day since they’ll be closed during.

Favorite Madison barber shop, have paid much more for a much worse looking haircut elsewhere. Parking on game days is a nightmare so keep that in mind. Three barbers work here, have gotten a good cut from all.

Your basic hometown barber shop. They seem to remember everyone, including names and stories. If all you need is a haircut, this place is cheap, fast, and friendly.
