Visited one random day because Sweet Kingdom next door was closed. Not the fanciest place but… that Buffalo chicken pizza was really a work of art. The staff were super nice. Can’t wait to try their other offerings!

The go-to pizza here is the Buffalo Chicken pizza. Anyone who’s grown up in Malden has probably had this. The particular one I ordered this time was actually really spicy compared to what I’ve had before. I really like that the crust from New York Pizza is super soft and not chewy or hard. Also ordered the Buffalo fries which are the fries version of the Buffalo Chicken pizza. Also spicy, also good. The fries were nice and thick.(Note: The Buffalo fries are not on the online menu, so if you want to get this, you have to call or go there in person to order) The Taco Supreme Salad was a little disappointing though. It came with the standard lettuce, tomatoes, nachos, meat, salsa, sour cream, cheese and was nothing special. Came in an extremely large container though so good value. Overall, the food is pretty good at this place and well-priced. Medium Buffalo Chicken Pizza + Large Buffalo Fries + Nacho Supreme Salad was $ 28.

We’ve tried several take-out/delivery spots around the Medford/Malden area and New York Pizza has been consistently great every time my boyfriend and I have ordered from there. Unless it’s a busy weekend night, the food comes quickly, delivery fee is only $ 1.00 and food is delicious every time. Pizzas always have plenty of toppings and are never burned or greasy. And the chicken wings? Onnn point. My cat enjoys them too :) New York Pizza has a huge menu with great selection and is reliable.

I’m tired of ordering Dominos. New York Pizza delivers a fresh, genuine, handmade, delicious pizza filled with cheesy goodness. The wait was not long and the place has decent room to sit. However, it is located right next to a high school, so there is a rush of students after 2PM. New York Pizza is a prime example of what the classic american pizza should be.

This place is definitely a hidden gem for me. I always come across this place when I eat at restaurants around the area or when I get Kung Fu Tea since its across from each other. I came here with my boyfriend around 2ish right before high school ended classes so we missed the rush. It was pretty empty when we got there and questioned why it was so empty. I wasn’t sure how good this place was. We ordered a medium cheese pizza and small fries. Half an hour in, the pizza shop was super packed with students. And after tasting the pizza, I knew why there were so many people. Slices are only $ 2 each, which is way cheaper than most pizza shops. The pizza itself was delicious. It was the type of pizza that I love eating with ooey gooey stringy mozzarella cheese. The crust was amazing too. I was definitely surprised because the pizza didn’t look too appealing, but after eating it, I fell in love. The fries were really good too(I’m a french fry fanatic). I can’t wait to be back!

These guys are the nicest people in the world. My 2-year old and I always stop in and share one slice of cheese pizza, and they are as nice to us as the people ordering huge orders. They even gave my son ice cream. The pizza is good, better than real New York pizza in my opinion.

This is my first time ever writing a review but due to my HORRIBLE experience I felt it necessary to write something. We ordered a pizza Saturday and later that night put it in the oven to reheat it. As I was eating it I noticed a staple, yes a STAPLE and a piece of a receipt in the pizza. As if that wasn’t bad enough there was a piece of short black hair in it as well. Beyond disgusted(and concerned) I called New York Pizza and asked for a manager. The 1st person I spoke with asked«What do you need» I started telling him the story and he passed the phone off to another man. I asked him«Are you the owner?» He said«what does it matter who I am» After I told him what happened his response was«Wow that’s a lot of things to find in one pizza, I will look better next time» More than shocked I said«Are you kidding me? that is your response?» He started yelling and said«what do you want me to do?» I said«one don’t speak to me like that, two and apology would have been great and three you trying to resolve the situation would have been even better» He offered me nothing and the only thing I got was an attitude. SODISGUTSING. I called the Malden board of health and they are sending someone there. = STAYAWAYUNLESSYOULIKEEATINGSTAPLES, RECEIPTSANDHAIR!!!

I ordered Buffalo Chicken Pizza and it was really good! not as good as the one I ate from the same place last month but still better than most. The price is cheaper than most of the other places as well. My order was delivered in 15 minutes which was great, however, the delivery guy wasn’t very friendly.

If I could give this zero stars I would. Ordered a chicken finger dinner and a pepperoni pizza. Go a half cheese half pepperoni and just chicken fingers, no fries or salad. When I called back they wanted the food back, little do they know that taking food back from a customer is completely wrong. Nevermind the fact that they wanted«half» the chicken fingers back. So be wary, your chicken fingers could have already made it to a home and they are reselling them. That’s disgusting. I will never order from here again. I suggest you find a better place as well!

The buffalo chicken pizza here is delicious. It’s definitely a must try. I stopped by to grab a few slices and found out they now serve ice cream and slush! The owners daughter was adorable, she was advertising the ice cream and asked if I wanted some, of course I did! It was delicious. I think it’s a great addition to the menu.

Went there to order two large pizzas to go. The cashier(wish I remembered his name) was super sweet. Kinda rare to find nice people in the Boston area after living there for 17 years, ha. Pizza was also delicious and not super salty like I would get when I order pizza from say, Dominos. It actually tastes like authentic pizza. Unfortunately I didn’t get to try their subs and fries(my absolute favorite thing to get from any pizza shop) but that’ll definitely will be for next time! Definitely will be coming again.

Ordered Shrimp and Calamari, Calzone and Salad w/fries The shrimp was ok and the calamari was sub par. Big salad which was decent and reasonably priced. The Calzone, Spinach, Feta and Olive was tasty. Fries were eh. Would not try again.

Guy making pizza rang us up didn’t wash his hands from making pizza his hands were full of dough and flour and my money is even more dirty than it already was. He took my order with dirty hands pressed the cashier with dirty soiled hands gave me change… Did not wash his hands and continued making pizza spreading cheese and oil and tossing dough. Gross gross gross. I didn’t order pizza so whatever for today… But yeahhh that’s a huge health code violation

Okay, so we just ordered a large cheese pizza and a chicken broccoli & ziti with alfredo for delivery. The delivery driver arrives and DROPS the CBZ right in front of me as he is handing the food over— Me: Oh whoa, that’s not good. Him: Oh no, I think it’s okay. Me: Can we check it first? *He opens the bag and pulls out the container to reveal that it’s DRIPPING in it’s own sauce. Him: It’s okay. You see? Sauce outside, but inside okay. Me: Uhhhhhh, it just exploded open, it is NOT okay. *we go back and forth about who’s right and finally he agrees to take it back to replace it…(no apology was given) –Moments later, I decide to call the restaurant to inform someone about what just happened. And IMMEDIATELY after I mentioned that the driver dropped the food, the guy interrupted me and said, and here’s the icing on the cake: IT’S OKAY. THECONTAINERISTIGHT. ITDOESN’T OPENIFIT’S DROPPED. I continued to tell the guy that it DID open, and there was sauce leaking through the bag, but the guy KEPT interrupting me and getting short with me shouting — - Him: You want a new one?! You have to give it back to the driver so we can show our boss. His only defense was, «he is human, we make mistakes.» TRUE. But don’t pretend like everything is OKAY when you messed up! I lost my temper and what followed wasn’t nice. I asked for a manager and he told me that he was the manager on duty. That says A LOT about this place.

The staff is very friendly. The food is cheaper than Two Paisan’s. My boyfriend loves the buffalo chicken pizza! Their steak and rice dish is a large portion for the price.

I’ve never eaten pizza in New York so I can’t exactly compare. I love their pizza here doe. It’s so amaaaaazing. Especially their buffalo chicken pizza. Ugh. To die for. I would come here so often after work and buy 2 slices, a little over $ 5 as their credit/debit minimum is $ 5. So why not, buy 2 slices, devour them, and call it a day after being satisfied at work. Their pizza specials are generally good too for a large cheese pizza for about $ 8(?) could be wrong. I used to go to school nearby, literally around the corner just to eat this for lunch because why not it’s pizza right? Cold pizza is great too from here, even though they don’t serve it. I meant like bought a pizza from here, then deciding to save it for tmrw and bam, cold buffalo chicken pizza for breakfast. Honestly, the best. Do I care about how many calories or their nutritional value? Please it’s pizza. Is it gluten free? Probably not, eat it anyways. Seating’s great has a bunch of tables and booths to sit at. No AC though, gets a little hot in there sometimes. There’s a TV going on in the background so it’s not the quietest place on earth. But I’m being honestly with you here, try a slice of buffalo chicken pizza, if you regret buying it, just give it to me.

Let me preface this review by saying that I have never actually eaten«New York» pizza, so I can’t comment on the actual namesake of this business or if I’m supposed to be basing my judgement on the actual«NY» experience. However, I will say that I am a HUGE pizza fan! I could literally eat pizza three or four times a week if nobody was watching. We’ve been staying in Malden for a few weeks and decided we needed some take out on a hot evening. I called up New York Pizza and was able to get delivery in around half an hour(and with only $ 1 delivery fee!). The pizzas are all fresh, chewy, flavorful and on a yummy thin crust that isn’t greasy in any way or form. The first night we ordered in, we got a medium White pizza(Mozzarella cheese, ricotta cheese, fresh basil, garlic, sprinkle Parmesan cheese) and a medium Meat Lovers(Pepperoni, sausage, bacon, meatballs and ham). The pizzas were BIG, more than enough for two hungry people, and very hot and fresh. I(the orderer of the White pizza) loved the mass amounts of ricotta cheese on top of my pizza. The ricotta was delicious — fresh tasting and slightly sweet, adding a nice richness that didn’t feel heavy or oily(which is hard to find in an all-cheese pizza). The basil, albiet kind of more ‘fried’ than fresh, thanks to what I’m assuming is the time in the pizza oven) was still flavorful and stood out. The pizza was sprinkled with just enough garlic to add flavor without being offensive, and I loved the ample amount of cornmeal on the bottom of the crust, adding a little crunch to each bite. My boyfriend had the Meat Lovers and it was exactly what he expected. I actually had a piece the next morning for breakfast and was surprised by how much MEAT was piled onto the pizza. It was a great balance with the thin crust and they didn’t add too much cheese, which managed to reduce the grease-factor a little bit. We ordered in again a few days later, this time only getting a large White pizza and an order of the cheesie bread. The large pizza was a formidable size, very very big, and the cheesie bread was the size of a medium pizza. I wasn’t sure what to expect as the definition of cheese bread differs from place to place — At NY Pizza, it’s definition is a pizza crust with garlic and lots of mozza, and a tangy marinara sauce for dipping. Not too bad, but I spent so much time trying to cram as much White pizza in as I could, I didn’t pay much attention to it. All in all, New York Pizza did exactly what I expected it to. Great, fresh, hot original pizza for a great price and in a good delivery time. The next time we return to the Malden/Greater Massachusetts area, we will definitely order again.

I have eaten all the pizza in Malden. Cataldo’s is okay, but I really really REALLY endorse New York Pizza. Most pizza places in Malden do lazy, suburb-tasting crap pizza. I hate greasy-crusted greek pizza. I hate pizza that has bland sauce. I hate doughy crust. New York Pizza manages to turn out pies that have nice crust, a really well-flavored sauce, and pretty well-sized to boot! Reliable, go-to pizza.
