Diamond Malibu Gym

I have been a member here since 2004. It was a great, small gym with an even better crowd. That being said every since there have been new ownership and mgmt this gym has gone to s**t. I was wrongfully charges two installations of $ 190 and & $ 90 which makes absolutely no sense as I have been paying $ 75 as per my contractual obligation with this gym. I was just yelled at by their condescending manager asking if I am a senior citizen for that rate. In other words would not and COULD not explain to me why I got charged the way I did. Long story short. Don’t do it, Malibu fitness or workout in your living room.

Mister Diamond is such a friendly happy guy. Gym is never over crowded and always clean. Plus they’ve got a great selection on different machines

Diamond Malibu Gym is by far the best equipped gym in Malibu. I train both my clients as well as myself at DMG. If your looking for a no nonsense gym loaded with high quality equipment in Malibu DMG is the ticket. And Diamond is a stand up guy who goes the extra mile to make sure his members are happy.

Diamond’s Malibu Gym is 2^nd to none (& that’s an EASY CALL)! This is a ‘get down to business, no messing around’ gym only for those serious about their workouts/​and or training. It has everything one could ever need for an excellent workout using only the best and most up to date equipment.
Another main attraction to this gym (for me) is being able to exercise without being bothered by anyone. The other clients are into their own routine and are only focused on themselves so you don’t see other members walking around, texting and looking for dates (like I’ve witnessed at so many other gyms, OH YUK)! It’s a very down to earth & relaxed feel in Malibu Gym and I Love it! I also happen to really like Diamond, the owner. His knowledge & expertise is impressive (to say the least), and I could talk heath, fitness & nutrition all day every day w/​him and continue to still learn something new from him. Trust when I tell you that if you wisely give DMG a shot you will NOT be disappointed! It’s AWESOME in there & it’s my ‘go to’ zone without a doubt! ;) Cannot imagine going anywhere else… Ever! Thank you Diamond & a big thank you to your thoughtful & helpful staff!

As a 3 time Olympic coach, I’ve traveled all over the world and worked out in many gyms. Diamond’s Malibu Gym is the best personally owned and operated gym I’ve ever worked out in. It’s very clean, well organized, and has all the right equipment. Diamond is enthusiastic and passionate about his gym and loves working with people. I highly recommend it!

I and my wife have been members of The Malibu Gym and we love working out there. There are so many friendly members we have so much fun there. And the new owner, Diamond, is out of sight! He is a fantastic trainer and dear friend to us and so many others. We just love him. The Malibu Gym is the very best gym in Malibu bare none.

The anonymous user’s attempted hatchet job on the gym was simply petty. Not too difficult to figure out the premeditated intensions of a negligible user who created an account just to berate a business. On the upside, kudos to having that much time on their hands, I’d use it to double-​check quoting the gym’s website prior to committing libel :)
When it comes to receiving any service I pay for, I assess with a thorough appraisal.
First, Diamond’s Malibu Gym, is the only gym in Malibu that you won’t be sharing a parking lot with people that are parking to go to the beach. While both of the other gyms in Malibu are very nice, Malibu Fitness and Malibu Health do however, accommodate beach goers.
Second, every other gym in Malibu charges extra for classes.
And lastly, Diamond is doing more than an exceptional job in his business. He’s engaged in daily assessments of the gym while accommodating all of his member’s needs. The staff is always pleasant and nothing but helpful. I’ve personally walked into Diamonds office before to ask a question regarding a machine, and without hesitation he got up and monitored my workout to inhibit any injury I could’ve potentially given myself.
Hands down, Diamond’s Malibu Gym is number one on my list.

And a big boohoo to Anonymous who was too much of a coward to sign his name to his trashed up review of Diamond’s Malibu Gym. Pay that review no attention — it’s a cowardly post from someone hiding behind a keyboard.
Next time you want to trash talk, have the cajones to sign your name.
The truth about Diamond’s Malibu Gym is that Diamond is living and loving his gym. Day by day it gets better, and it’s clean and you have an owner who cares about his clients. He’s there from the time it opens to long after it closes.
I’ve been a member for 18 years or so to this gym, and it’s never been run better. Sure rates had to go up, what hasn’t gone up lately? Ridiculous rates? Really?
Classes went away as there was no traffic or demand for them.
I am sure if there was a need, there’d be classes again.
Diamond knows what he’s doing and he’s proving it every day.
I stand behind Diamond as do many hundreds of other very satisfied members of Diamond’s Malibu Gym.

As a former private client of Diamond’s, I was very happy to receive news that he would be training full time at Diamond’s Malibu Gym. The student rates offered are comparable to local gyms and I was fortunate to have my initiation fees waived. The convenient location paired with Diamond’s expertise has me more than excited for swimsuit season!

Best gym in Malibu. Diamond is doing all the right things. Clean, nice equipment, organized.
