Overview of the brand: Lorna Jane is very similar to Lululemon. The difference– It’s collection and categories are still slim while Lulu offers more outerwear and accessories alongside a growing men’s line. Lorna Jane is clearly about bold colors(neon pink, orange, teal…) while Lulu offers more dark shades and heather blends. Lulu offers free yoga class, Lorna not yet. Now the store: This is my second trip to this cute store. Although Lorna Jane’s prices are very similar to that of Lulu(and many jackets are about 30−40% more expensive than the ones from Lulu), there are always more goodies on sale. So, when a pair of capri gets marked down from $ 88 to $ 65 and you don’t see that in a Lulu store, Lorna gets the biz. And, as always, the energy in the store is beautiful and sporty. The girls are always smiling and offering suggestions and goodies on sale.

What a great experience I had today at Lorna Jane in Malibu! I’ve shopped at the LJ in Westlake Village before(since it’s usually closer to me), with very sweet girls, however the new manager at the Lorna Jane in Malibu was beyond helpful in helping me find a new jacket to wear when I teach my classes! She taught me all about the versatility of the clothes, with all these neat hidden features I had never realized before. I’m so excited for both of the two jackets I ended up buying — clearly she’s a great salesperson, and you can tell it was from a genuine place! Next time I need to get my Lorna Jane fix, I may just need to head back over the Canyon to this location. Seriously.

I’ve been to this location 5 times. Unlike the other review, I’d rather have an attentive & helpful salesperson like Ashley than one that ignores me(like at Lululemon) The styles are always fun & flattering. Yes, it’s pricey but everything I have bought has lasted a long time.
