This was our first visit so we picked out four different kinds of cookies, six total and it came to $ 12.00. There were several good looking choices and the gal behind the counter was very helpful. We love sugar especially cookies. But Mimi’s cookies were way too sweet, just too much sugar, way too sweet. Never again!

Ordered a wedding cake back in November 2015 for MY January wedding. Friends showed up to pick up the cake an hour before the ceremony(the agreed upon time via telephone) to find NOCAKE had been made. Apparently the deposit wasn’t enough to see a cake order through. But it was MY fault the cake wasn’t made she said. No communication was attempted by MIMI to inform us of her delay — she thought she’d wait until we showed up, apparently. Wasn’t even apologetic about her lack of… everything! Pointed the finger at us and blamed the lack of power for her inability to see what pending orders she had. Probably should introduce her to a pen and paper. Took 20 minutes to get an apology after we spoon-fed her the idea. But she was kind enough to waive the delivery fee(approx. $ 200) on our special day for the cake that wasn’t made at the time she agreed to have ready for the people who were sent on our behalf, who paid the balance with their own money because she didn’t have the credit card info she had on file at the time of the deposit. Terrible business practices. But it worked out, the cake was smothered on my face in classic wedding fashion, but it had to be done twice because it was so dry it didn’t smother well. Maybe she can use those delivery fees she collects and put them towards business classes. Terrible experience.

I am really liking this place. Every time, I mean every time, I come to Mammoth for skiing, I make it a point to visit Mimi’s. Mimi is so nice and her staff is friendly. I recently stopped by to try the Mud Pie in a Jar and it was on point. If you like chocolate and coffee, it’s a must try. The chocolate was savory and hints of coffee came through on every bite. The graham cracker crust added the needed texture and the cream was so decadent. The pie jars are glass, so you can return those for a free cookie per jar. I recently tried the pb&j cookie and it was so good. The cookie itself was a peanut butter cookie and the grape preserves completed the pb&j experience. Can’t wait to return!

Here’s the funny thing. I read a lot of reviews about people not wanted to pay the prices they charge… yet I’ll bet those same people pay the obscene prices for lunch at the ski lodge(just my burger and fries with a water bottle cost me $ 25!). Yes, their prices are steep… but they are in a resort town, a town that doesn’t exactly have easy access for them to get all of the organic ingredients they use. So yes, you are going to have to spend some money! That’s what happens on a vacation… so don’t be so shocked! Now, as far as their product, I can only review their cookies(as I can’t eat dairy and I haven’t seen them make their jars in a dairy-free variety yet). The cookies are smaller then what I normally buy in other cookie shops, but they are also less expensive(I think the one I got was $ 1.09). It is kinda nice to get a smaller bite… and/or get a couple different ones instead of one large one somewhere else. The cookies were fresh and we’ve been there multiple times over the years without ever noticing any bad service. Their selection can be slim sometimes, but that’s understandable considering they must bake to the amount of expected sales… and that’s not always easy to estimate. Overall, we’ve had good experiences there and would go back next year around this time again. The only piece of advice I’d have it for them to find someone with a little more marketing skill to respond to negative reviews. Sometimes it’s just better to say«We are sorry you had this experience and learn from every comment our customers make. Next time you are in Mammoth, we would love to meet you to make sure you have an incredible experience with us». Arguing or making excuses does come off wrong sometimes… just my 2 cents.

Exploring Mammoth today with my friend while our boys were off fishing and we came across this lovely place. The name calls you in… cookie bar!!! I’m there! I couldn’t decide what to get because of all the amazing choices, but I managed to pick a few goodies such as s’mores bark, sprinkled shortbread cookies, cookie dough bar, and a hot cocoa topped with a homemade marshmallow and whipped cream(homemade as well). Everything is to die for!!! I can’t wait for the next bakery I mean fishing trip so I can come back here! On a side note, the owner was the one helping my friend and I, and she was so nice and helpful. Great business. You’re missing out if you don’t stop by! On another side note, I shared all of these goodies, though maybe I could have eaten it all myself.

If I could give these girls zero stars I would. I met them at the Mammoth wedding gala tonight and they were extremely rude, no customer service skills, did not even offer for us to try anything, all the other cake vendors were amazing and even gave us cake boxes to take home. We were looking for our cake for our wedding and this place is out!

We came in an hour before closing, craving ice cream. No ice cream as the freezer was«broken,» but there was still containers in it… Clerk said it had been down all day, but couldn’t answer why the ice cream was still in freezer, and no, the containers weren’t empty. Only four sad looking cupcakes available, all salted caramel. Buy one, get one free, yeah, no kidding, and no thanks. No chocolate chip cookies… and the clerk was rather rude. We went to Ben & Jerry’s and were very happy we did.

Mimi and her team absolutely rocked it on our big wedding day! Working with her was so awesome, from our first tasting until the last cookie on our wedding day the service was perfect! She was always so sweet and helpful, she helped make our wedding day stress free and delivered and set up all of our dessert table at our venue in June Lake. Plus did I mention how good all the treats were? So yummy and such a beautiful presentation! Planning a destination wedding was much easier having such an awesome local bakery on our team! Brides, don’t think twice about it just book!

Cute little place. But service was absolutely terrible. This lady was rude and wouldn’t work with us. We asked for the half dozen cookies for 12.00 to mix and match of all the Same price and she told us no. Then my mother in law who is Vegan asked what was in the brownie she just bought because she is very religious to vegan culture and«ummm a lot of stuff» okay!!! Cookies are pretty good, the salted Carmel is to die for, everything else is isn’t anything to brag about.

Really rude and told us they«barely serve any vegan anything» at their store, and if we wanted their vegan cookies we had to walk to the health food store, which we did do, where their terrible vegan cookies cost $ 13. Good luck with your going out of business, Mimi!

Pros: Their ice cream and cookies were delicious and the shop, itself, is clean and charming. Cons: Horrendous customer service and overpriced for a small town joint. The cashier was cold, curt and was snarky when we asked about the content about gelatin gummy bears. We felt offended on the way we were dealt with.

yum, yum, yum! The store is adorable, Mimi is darling & helpful. We had an assorted pie table at my daughter’s wedding with some of the pies made gluten free & vegan. All were delicious & enjoyed by everyone. After tasting the Best Friend cookies, we also had cookies available. Thinking that there would be leftover cookies, we had little bags so that people could take them home for later… haha we ate everything & no bags were used!

I want to cry because I’d have to travel so far to get this I e cream again. By far best I’ve ever had. It was like a party of yumminess

I’m not sure why they have such good reviews? We stopped to check out the pies in jars, but say the price versus size and said H-NO! Rip off. $ 7.99 and up, the size of my palm(not your typical mason jar). So cookies? Ice cream? Sure. Vegan options; coconut. 2 choices at $.65 an ounce. Yikes! Okay cookies: $.99 — $ 4.00 Mind you small normal sized cookies, not giant cookies. Tried the grandpas cookie with chocolate & coconut. It was rock hard & coconut was not toasted so super chewy coconut flakes. The lemon cookie was like 2 cookies stuck together(also about $ 4). Reminded me personally of ginger. But who knows. I didn’t like it. Overrated & overpriced. ***response to below: your staff might have ripped me off with the $ 4.00 charge. That’s a little alarming, I guess be careful. As for my cookie, of course I ate it right away.***

I love all of their cakes and cookies and their Pie in a Jar is absolutely AMAZING. I have food allergies to wheat, dairy, and eggs, and its great to be able to have somewhere to purchase cakes and cupcakes that I’m able to eat that are still delicious.

Just tried this place and loved it. Came the first time and got a chocolate chip cookie sandwich, perfect amount of chocolate and melts in your mouth. Loved it so much I came back later and tried the white chocolate hot chocolate with coconut milk and a big marshmallow and it was delicious, and really warmed me up! What I really liked was all the variety. They had banana hot chocolate, chili hot chocolate, vegan options, a create a cookie option, I really like unique food places and this was one of the best I’ve seen in mammoth. Very cute place to come and grab a treat :)

I don’t know if I caught them at a bad time? They have a few flavors of ice cream, but most of them didn’t appeal to me or the friends I went with. We basically all had to settle on Vanilla. They were out of almost all of the regular cookies, just had the specialty ones(macaroons, sandwiched cookies, etc). It was mid afternoon! It’s a very cutesy shop and friendly staff, but it wasn’t really my thing.
