Tallus is without a doubt the only way to stay in Mammoth. Coming to Mammoth with a large family can be chaotic. not when you stay at Tallus. they make everything so easy so you can have time to ENJOY yourselves. Full service hospitality at its finest. we had a prviate chef cater our family and it perfect in every way. we got to use the newly remodeled outdoor entertaining area that is amazing. BBQ and fire pit overlooking their playground so our children were never out of sight. Amazing experience summer or winter. i will not stay anywhere else!

Avoid this place for private events. During our stay for my sister’s wedding, we were informed that they don’t consider themselves a venue for weddings. Why did they accept her 5 figure check and contract to rent the property to us then?
I understand they’ve experienced some change in management/​ownership but that is no excuse for the poor hospitality, lack of professionalism, and general stress their attitude caused.

Our family recently stayed at Tallus and it is now my preferred property in Mammoth Lakes. We have stayed at numerous rental properties in Mammoth, but none compare with our experience at Tallus. The homes are new, spacious, comfortable, and beautifully appointed. The Tallus staff was fantastic, arranging in-​home babysitting services for us, reservations, as well as personal shuttle service to and from the mountain and to the village. The theater room and game room is a huge bonus for the kids and the gated property gave us a nice piece of mind for when the kids were outside running around. I love to cook and the kitchen was top of the line with everything I needed to create some delicious aprés skiing meals. We were well taken care of and had a wonderful stay there. Our family will be back!
