I really like going to this grocery store when I want to grab an item on the way home without dealing with the riffraff seen at other stores. They really try to bring in fresh items (from produce to deli) and keep the shelves stocked with variety as well as organized. The sales are reasonable and eye catching. The check out counters and front end are clean. I think the cashiers are tasked to take care of their areas, so they move around the counter at times. The Customer Service Manager mans their counter, just like the Cashiers for the tobacco because it’s where the secured items are. I always see the Produce jockey loading up the produce section which is what makes the first impression to visitors. Get the Food Lion Member card to save a little more.

There are a lot of things I like about this Food Lion. First is the self check-​out. With a self check-​out I can buy groceries without engaging in any human interaction. Of course the downside of the self check-​out is the fact that some people just don’t have enough intelligence to use it, and it’s so frustrating to get behind one of these people. They also have the assisted check out, and I can’t understand why these knuckle-​draggers don’t go there.
For a relatively small supermarket, this place has a lot. It has a complete deli section with all kinds of deli meats and cheeses as well as various types of fresh bread along with some quick grab-​n-​go items like fried chicken strips and roasted chickens.
The produce section is where this place hurts. It’s a very small produce section, but they have bananas from Central America rather than South America, and if you are a banana fanatic like me, then you know that’s a very, very good thing.
They also have a very, very good beer and wine section. They don’t have as much selection as nearby Harris Teeter, but they have the good stuff. My favorite beer is Leinenkugel’s Sunset Wheat, and this is the only place around that seems to have it. The other night I had a really, really bad experience, and I was feeling bad. Food Lion was on my way home, and I picked up some Sunset Wheat. I went home and cuddled up with a bottle of Sunset Wheat and put on some Albert King.

I shop at this location once week, and the self check out is the best ever. No wait time, and you can get in and out. Being on a budget, they always have what i am looking for and great deals!!!

This Food Lion converted from a Bloom Grocery store this past summer.
It’s in a great location at Centreville Rd and Sudley Rd.
I call it drug corner because there is a CVS a Rite-​Aid and a Wallgreens on opposite corners.
If you can’t find your drug of choice on this corner of Manassas… it’s not legal.
I like this Food Lion because it has a good selection of affordable brands.
They have a nice slection of fresh meat plus a good slection of Boars Head deli products.
They also have a Va Lotto box.
