The Colombian dishes (empanadas, for example) are rarely available even if you call. Understandable since I assume their majority of customers might not be interested in those dishes. Too bad. Gotta call every time before you go there or call the day before to order something like empanadas/​buñuelos etc…

This is the original Kokorico.
In an strip shopping center off Grant Ave.
This is another authentic mex restaurant.
I ordered two chicken tacos, generous with the pollo.
Garnished with tomato’s, lettuce & celantro… comes with a side of refrios.
Sit at the bar, there are maybe three or four tables.
Not fancy, just authentic and good mex.
Find Kokorico #2 on Route 28 near Bull Run Creek bridge.
