The Taste Bud

Don’t blink! You’ll miss this one; it sits back in an industrial park off of Balls Ford Road. I think it’s only open for lunch, maybe until 3:00. They don’t deliver. I feel like that would make a lot more money and be much better known if they did though.
The burgers are pretty good. I like the «char» thing that they have going on there. Ask what specials they have each day… they are usually really good! They have a soup of the day too!
I don’t get by here very often, but if you work near here, it’s a pretty great lunch option.

They seem to be out of buisness? tried to stop by and it looks like they’re either remodeling or have moved out :\

After what happened today, I had to add another star and an updated review for The Taste Bud.
What happened was this: they messed up my order.
But wait! There’s more! When I brought back my burger, stuffed with the offending tomato, lettuce, and — worst of all! — mayonnaise, they were quick to correct it. Additional points go to running my new burger down to my office minutes later, as I had to hustle back to wait for a phone call.
I can’t say enough good things about this place, between the service and the food, I’m glad it’s so close to my office.

As John R. mentions — this deli is a bit off the beaten path. It’s a ways down Balls Ford Road — very close to the Holiday Inn Express. I’d characterize it as a hole-​in-​the-​wall deli — in a good way! :-)
Stopped in today to check out their subs. The front door was propped open and it was extremely warm and uncomfortable inside. I was planning on eating there — but the temperature of the place made me decide to get it to go.
Ordered the Italian Hoagie — comes with several meats, cheese, mayo, lettuce, tomato, onion, banana peppers and oil and vinegar. I requested jalapenos be added to the sub — and a bottle of water — to go.
I asked the lady working the counter if it was always this warm and uncomfortable. She apologized and told me that their rooftop AC unit had caught on fire and that someone was up on the roof working on it.
They offer a wide variety of hot and cold subs, sandwiches, burgers, fries, and more. They also have a nice selection of breakfast offerings.
The sub was stuffed full of goodness and very tasty. I will definitely be adding The Taste Bud to my Manassas Deli rotation — and I will be coming back here again!

Taste Bud is a great little off-​the-​beaten path place. They are within walking distance of the Holiday Inn. The staff is so friendly and the food is pretty good. If you work in the Manassas area, call them for catering; you won’t be disappointed.
