Manchester Designer Outlets

We drove a few hours to visit Bennington and Manchester VT. When we arrived at the outlets, the majority of the stores were closed and it was a ghost town. Mind you, it’s the Christmas season, a Saturday and around 5:30 pm. We noticed the Vermont Store (not sure of the exact name) was opened and decided to check it out. As we proceeded to the door the employee was placing the large display bear inside for the night. REALLY!!! He was kind enough to allow us to browse for a bit. As we purchased a few items we asked «do most of the stores close early here?» Unfortunately his answer was yes and that the outlets do not do enough business to pay an employee to keep the store open. It’s too bad. The town was very cute and decorated with pretty white lights. The stores were not what I expected — would have loved to see Burberry or Tori Burch. The book store was open and pretty cool. If you have ever been to the Wrentham Outlets, the Manchester Outlets will be a disappointment sorry to say.

After all these years, MDO maintains it’s unique one of a kind shopping experience.
With top shelf brands offering the ‘real’ stuff at great prices in these gorgeous stores set amongst the backdrop of southern Vermont’s finest scenery, this is one of my favorite places to go when I’m looking for a special find. It’s been a while since last I was here, and I have to say our visit this past weekend was just incredible. The new Marble Mill building is gorgeous, hosting Armani and other retailers. High end designer finds in a friendly small town setting, there’s no place like this in the world.
So glad we rediscovered this retail gem up in VT.

Manchester outlets, a whole strip of amazing stores conveniently located just a couple of minutes away from your favorite mountains!
With so many stores, good parking, easy access you can’t go wrong.
Your favorite stores for a reasonable price, always finding discounts especially in those expensives stores you’ll get something for so much cheaper!
